According to the NWUK Applicants Facebook Group... Ruel DaCosta was NOT invited. He was one of the final 15 to make it and came in 4th place (failed Spin Bridge) behind the Stuff, Segar and Livewire. Shame on you ITV, you've snubbed one of your best athletes...

Aaaaaaand the invitation situation has been cleared up. And, unsurprisingly, it's utter bulls**t.

{Spoiler}The only person I'm aware of that is returning is Owen 'the stuff', who just about made it furthest last time (beating Timothy by slapping the unstable bridge on the way down).
I know of only a couple people who attend informal comps and training events who have a strong chance, who have a spot on this season. I hope they do well but NW/Sasuke is unpredictable, and the odds aren't good.
ITV's rendition of the format is looking like a dead dog to me right now. A few of us have been training quite seriously and investing a lot of energy in to this pseudo-sport and are left wondering where we can compete!
My last hope is that 'Nanny Ninja' gets an invite, I might watch an episode to find out if she can clear the quintuple steps.

I sincerely hope it isn't the end for you or the others Teige, and in future tournaments you'll get the chance to compete again. What a joke. ITV have alienated the people who want to compete and do well through their choices this year.

Maybe if you start calling the Americans "filthy Yanks" you'll get the invite

PS I love a bit of pole graspering, totally gutted. Desperate for some behind the scenes gossip as what goes on at the event is always much more interesting and dramatic than the pants TV show edit.

Jonathan Meynall is back for season 3! Also by the looks of it there is a lot of comedic competitors not cool. If they have that on the show then it's gonna get cancelled quickly...it's in a Saturday prime time slot remember...get a grip ITV or let the show rot in the corner until its eventual cancellation. I'm definitely not watching this season

What other new obstacles were introduced in S3? Spin Cycle in Stage 2. New obstacle after salmon ladder. Double Tilt Ladder is back in Qualifying course.
Take the hint that this is all speculation coming from Instagram/Twitter images.

So this is why UK shows get cancelled so quickly... Also expected to see the Spin Cycle in Stage 2, don't expect anyone to get there tho.

They change the 4th obstacle of Stage 2 every year even though no one has get there yet(the Cycle Road with 3 wheels last year was unattempted)
