UK Team: Toby Segar Steve Jehu Teige Matthew Palmer (Who is hilariously shown as 'Watthews' in the score box Richard Bartlett Tim Champion Interesting Deviation from Sasuke: On Stage 4, the button is not next to the entry. You have to get fully onto the platform and walk over.

Thanks! Btw.. why does the video look like it was filtered through mud? LOL P.S. Last couple of seconds announcing the USA vs. China episode next week Usually the upload the videos in 1080p. For whatever reason this one has 360p as a maximum. It is possible that this requires extra processing on Youtubes end before they appear. I did post this within about 20 minutes of it going up, so it could still be preparing the higher resolutions. Edit: May I also say Zack D Fuzzle is an amazing name. (He is on Team Singapore) Edit 2: For the first time as far as I'm aware, we had a tie to the millisecond. Neither team was awarded a winning run for it. Edit 3: Another first time encounter: If both competitors fail the first obstacle, they take distance WITHIN first obstacle, since they can't use the time of arrival. Edit 4: I love the Champagne fights they do at the end of each episode.

X-Warrior really is a wildcard for me. It was sniffed out legally by TBS, and paid for the Sasuke license, but everything else from the obstacles, to construction,n to the bright lights of the course and sound effects scream ANW.

Thanks! Btw.. why does the video look like it was filtered through mud? LOL P.S. Last couple of seconds announcing the USA vs. China episode next week Theory confirmed, the higher res clips up to 1080p are now available. X-Warrior really is a wildcard for me. It was sniffed out legally by TBS, and paid for the Sasuke license, but everything else from the obstacles, to construction,n to the bright lights of the course and sound effects scream ANW. That because, well, that is entirely accurate. The show follows the ANW format and used ANW courses prior to the TBS legal fiasco. The Vs. competitions are formatted the same as Vietnam actually, and I actually prefer them over any of the ones ANW as done. Every spinoff has had a varying level of influence from both ANW and Sasuke, and that's what makes them unique. Look at Sasuke Vietnam for example. All of the clips shown are from the 4-stage 'Midoriyama' final, however Stage 1 IS the qualifier and they only had the 42 fastest Stage 1 finishers continue on a la ANW. The course was more similar to Sasuke, yet they used the 3-attempts Warp Wall a la ANW. Every spinoff from now til eternity will likely have some influence drawn from both formats.

Another thing, is it just me, or is the X-Warrior Cliffhanger INSANELY difficult? The ledges look absolutely miniscule, and certainly thinner than the SASUKE ones...

Screw the cliffhanger, look at the friggin Hang Climbing. Those handholds look like they were designed for midgets. The ledges are ~1 inch, with the transition ledge being ~1.5 if I am correct. It is very similar to the ANW Qualifiers Cliffhanger, if not based on. The vertical distances are also shorter than ANW. If anything, it is an easier version of the ANW finals one, which is an easier version of regular cliffhanger. The 90 degree turns let you hold your body such that you arms complete a triangle with the ledges, which makes it significantly easier to stay up on the transitions. As for hang climb, the rocks may have a smaller surface area, but the actually have more grabbable-ly shaped rocks, so it balances out with other versions.

No, just identical to what was quoted above (1-1.5) - check the conversion. ANW is 5 cm btw if you wanted a comparison. So from the discussion it seems these are Sasuke length even though they wholly ripped off ANW's design for the course. TBS was not involved in any of the design of the course and the group that ripped off the concept ripped off ANW lock stock and barrel. Problem is, they are terrible copycats and the course was poorly made.

If the ledges on x-warriors cliff hanger are 1 inches with the transition ledges being 1.5 inches that would make the ledges about 2.5 cm to 3.8 cm thick. So some of the ledges on x warrior are thinner than Sasukes.

So some of the ledges on x warrior are thinner than Sasukes. Are people assuming the thickness? Or was it confirmed? Because honestly, I wasn't told that the ledges had any issues or harder, etc.
