Britten got himself to the top post on the Baseball subreddit as well. And the people there recognize that SASUKE is a thing

So after tonight ultimate cliffhanger should be replaced by crazy cliffhanger, right? If ANW puts an imitation of the real Crazy Cliffhanger in Vegas, I get the feeling that casual viewers will think that it is inferior to the ANW7 UCH. The real Crazy Cliffhanger's difficulty stems from the jump, and ANW7's UCH had a jump. I don't believe that casual viewers realize that ANW7's UCH final ledge was basically a thick rail, unlike with the real Crazy Cliffhanger. From the "run of the night" replay, it looked like Caldiero was able to hold onto the rail from his fingertips to just shy of his fist knuckles. That rail was really thick. ANW, because of their lack of vision, once again completely botched this.

The ledges are 2 1/4" thick on the Cliffhanger, as they always have been in Vegas.

So uh Did that ending completely ruin it for anyone else? >_> Yes. Definitely left a really acrid taste in my mouth. Ugh. Ninja Warrior is about humans against the course -not each other. This entirely. NBC really f***ed up and ruined the entire spirit of Sasuke (this competition included). For Geoff to not even get a second place prize is just infuriating. They're already acting like he wasn't the technical first ever completion with their posts on Facebook and everywhere featuring Isaac only and only mentioning Geoff in the comments when people comment about him first. This just leaves a bad taste in my mouth and I feel sick thinking about how Geoff would feel, very bittersweet. I was hoping I'd hear Isaac offer to split the money with Geoff but I guess that's not going to happen. I can tell you I would consider it if I was Isaac, if only to at least help myself sleep at night knowing the other guy got dick. But really, f*** NBC.

I also noticed this, I was saying how it looked at least twice as thick as the CC in Sasuke, and it's rounded with an indent to fit your fingertips into. Went back to watch 31 and double check, yeah that thing is tiny, and you're not allowed to turn around first and face it (as we learned from Drew), Morimoto is just a beast.

I'm sure you guys can confirm ANW's thickness but the one from Sasuke is 3 cms. The Japanese had an internal bet when they came to the USA that if any of the Japanese failed the 5+ cm ledge they will have to walk home in shame and have to quit Sasuke. LOL

We'll see what happens. Right now meetings are set to determine if Sasuke 32 is coming back at all. It is up to TBS International though to pull the trigger on both 32 AND NBC direct involvement. If that happens, they better not commandeer the show like G4 did and put a flag on the course.. I'd settle for Sasuke Rising/Ninja Warrior episodes on Esquire. If that happens I won't be too upset if NBC goes to Japan.

Fantastic news if more American ninjas come to compete in Japan. Inui's tweet technically says that he's gonna have a "Meeting with the producer about Sasuke we do the next year" - so I feel a positive vibe. Fingers crossed.

I asked and it's to specifically decide if they are going to do so. No decision has been made yet (.. thank you politics..) so keep fingers crossed! Btw for the record he himself has zero control over the organizing/funding/permission to create Sasuke. So he's hoping like the rest of us that the news is good.

If Issac is aiming to topple the tower in Japan it'll be interesting to see how Japan reacts to him.

So, for those Sasuke fans, what happens if more than one competitor conquers the whole course?

So, for those Sasuke fans, what happens if more than one competitor conquers the whole course? They are declared winner and each receive the identical reward. It's been done in Kunoichi once as well and both were equally recognized as co-champions and won the same amount of money.

I just hope this (justifiable) backlash against the show/NBC/whatever doesn't become a backlash against Isaac; that'd be almost as big a shame as Geoff not getting anything. I'm not mad at Issac (he's done nothing wrong), but I am furious at NBC. It just adds to my long list of hatred for ANW.

On different sites I've read comments where people say that in Japan they split the prize money - where did that misinformation come from? G4?

Then it would be cool if the 10 wild card spots on ANW where for Japan in the future or grant them 10 spots to come over and compete on the course. NBC could leverage that later in the America vs the world raitings

Couple things that exec producer Kent Weed said in the Hollywood Reporter article that I thought were noteworthy: "We have a few surprises up our sleeve for next season" "We will have a woman finisher next year. We’ll have more women in Vegas. We'll have the first woman to finish Stage 1 next year." "I’d like to see Kacy come back and take over again."
