... For all the people who don't understand why some of us dislike ANW, look at this course. Its just wrong in so many ways Stage 1 isn't that hard, and stage 2 is nerfed..... It's not that bad. Challenging enough for a rock climber to fail early, they have to earn their way to stage 3.

No one can say anything about how hard an ANW stage will be until we see the obstacles work in person. As most people know there are a lot of obstacles this year that sound ok on paper but were brutal in real life. Also lol at Stage 3, NBC really wants to keep a hold of that prize money

The cliffhangers in Vegas are bigger than the ones in Japan.... it's not harder that way, just the steeper decline on the jump which could be difficult.

There are multiple smaller in length ledges. Instead of the super slanted ledges one and 2, they go across and up like Cliffhanger 2.0 but twice to the 3rd ledge. Not sure how many ledges after that, but the jump to the other side is as described but remember the ledges are thicker than original CCH.

Course update (there may be more changes before they start tonight)
Stage 1 Piston Road Silk Slider (larger platform than last year) Propeller Bar Jumping Spider Sonic Curve WW Coin Flip (only 3 coins, but the 2nd coin is higher than the 1st or 3rd) Lache bar > lache bar > lache bar > cargo net (they got ride of the tramp)
Stage 2: Rope Junction/Maze (path is different and draining but same as last year, the 1st to go will suffer the most) Salmon Ladder > a fixed bar Unstable Bridge Butter Fly Wall (longer run up) 2 Large Spin Cycles (tough but looks awesome) Wall Lifting
Stage 3: Some Hanginging obstacle on a track towards the doorknobs similar to what you'll see (or have seen) at Orlando finals> Doorknobs Floating Doors Crazy Cliff hanger (Has been passed by testers, the ledges are big) Pole Grasper> (one of the poles drop from top but it won't cause you to DQ unless you let go) Hang Climbing> UFOs (3 of them) > green rest bar Flying Bar (no changes)
Stage 4 = No change

I'm alright with the changes, a lot of the obstacles were getting stale like the Halfpipe Attack.

UFOs (3 of them) > green rest bar
No familiar with the obstacle "UFO". Is than an abbreviation or just a nickname?

Well they are round and didn't have a name when they were tested and it's off the ground so.... Unidentified Flying Object is an accurate description.

I just want somebody to get lucky enough to get to stage 4, nobody has yet to do it.

I just want somebody to get lucky enough to get to stage 4, nobody has yet to do it. I think that some of them are definitely physically capable of getting Total Victory, they just need to flush out any mental blocks, and avoid making any costly mistakes. Problems aside, the USA versus the World episode at least showed us that in ideal situations, Brian is capable of clearing Stage 3 and Travis is capable of clearing Stage 4. Will it happen this year? Dunno, but it is definitely possible.

Some stage 3 updates. The UCCH has 14 ledges, all of them small to nerf competitors with long reaches. 9 of them in the spots of the original 1st 3 ledges. Also the ledge you're jumping to may have a lip. There are 5 poles on pole grasper with the longest reach between 2 and 3. The UFOs have 7 tires but they are smaller and you can skip some. No feet allowed. Good luck to anyone competing tonight!

Please tell me the metal spin is still in. That wrecked people last year and it makes no sense to remove it entirely.

For those of you who thought stage 1 was too hard.... The number is believed to be 38 clears. So much for making it "impossible" . The jumping spider and the propeller bar took out the most ninjas.
