I'd trade both Matt & Akbar for Alison Haislip's return. Or any sideline host ever. Not as good as Allison. She was great.

I liked Angela. She was really proactive in getting to know the competitors. She came into the competitor area multiple times and talked with us, interviewed us, took pictures, etc.

I'd trade both Matt & Akbar for Alison Haislip's return. I'd trade anything to have it back as Matt,Jimmy and Haislip.

Angela did seem genuinely interested in everything. She was a sweetie. Alison was also cool. Good sense of humor.

Michael Moore fell in the spinning log with donut during qualifiers. A guy named Jonathan made it to the finals and fell at the flying bar (obstacle 8)

Ok so I see nobody wants to man up and enlighten everyone on the results so I'll do my best to give you guys what I can remember from both nights
QUALIFYING ROUND About 18 or 19 people finished the entire course leaving about 11 that went out on the hanging spikes (nunchucks) going to city finals The people who cleared are completely based on memory so I wont list them all
Daniel Gil 1:30 (fastest time) walk on Joe Calderon (first clear) walk on Jonathan Horton - walk on Sam Sann Brent Steffensen Tremayne Dortch Geoff Lancaster Jeremy Morgan Dillon Gates Abel Gonzalez Nate Jasso Andrew Lowes
More people cleared but they were new guys I didnt know or I might be forgetting some people
Notable fails KACY CATANZARO - failed the swinging cargo (still made it farther than the rest of the women) Matt Laessig - tilting slider Mario Mendoza - Walk on, failed tilting slider his foot barley hit the water Kyle Kim - failed swinging cargo Rob Ing - failed hanging spikes ( fast enough to make finals Karsten williams - hanging spikes (fast enough to make finals) Brock Riebe - hanging spikes (fast enough to make finals) Evan Dollard - hanging spikes (fast enough for finals) Jonathan Morin - hanging spikes (not fast enough for finals)
CITY FINALS
Clears Jeremy Morgan - fastest time Sam sann - He was the first clear and was pretty awesome watching a guy like sam sann make it all the way, he completely deserved it. These were the only 2 clears all night so thats not much better than venice Id have to say. Anw isn't messing around this year apparently.
Others that made the top 15 Karsten Williams - made it all the way to the last ledge of the cliffhanger Tremayne dortch - see above Daniel Gil - see above Brent Steffensen - Walking bar Geoff Lancaster - walking bar Jonathan Horton - walking bar ( he went really slow might not be in the top 15) Dillon Gates - walking bar Joe calderon - walking bar Abel Gonzalez - walking bar
I know almost for sure that the rest of the top 15 were whoever made it to the walking bar the fastest but I cant remeber all of them
here are some notable fails in finals
Nate Jasso - salmon ladder (same as last year) Andrew Lowes - hanging spikes (tried an early dismount and messed up) Rob Ing - hanging spikes again Evan dollard - hanging spikes again Brock Riebe - swinging cargo ( he was going really fast and so he tried to make the jump to the bar too early)
And thats just about all I can remember. If I remember other things that happened Ill edit the post but for now this is all I can give you for results.

Olympic gymnast Jonathan Horton as a walk on. The network could spin it as how he's showing his dedication to the sport as he tries to redeem himself after failing in Dallas early on. If he's close to top 15 he'll probably get a wildcard.
Somewhat unrelated but during one of his gymnastics competitions (don't remember the exact one) on NBC last year around Summer/Fall, they talked about how he competed in Dallas and showed a clip of him failing the rings.

I talked to Jonathan for a little while and he was one of the nicest guys I talked to, very down to earth even for being an elite athlete.
I did hear him say that He actually got called from them to tell him he didn't get a callback. How weird is that?

I'm an idiot.. they called to tell him he was rejected.. not to fake it. Good he made them eat their words.

Shame that Andrew Lowes failed, I was REALLY hoping to see him get to Vegas this year.

A portion of Sam Sann's run. John's run. Not sure of his full name.

John's run. Not sure of his full name. That's Jonathan Parr! Member of Iron Sports, a talented physical therapist, and one of the nicest ninjas I met in Houston (which is saying a LOT).

Despite overusing Kacy I actually do enjoy seeing her compete and seems like a very a nice person. However if the information on this thread is correct I wonder what the reaction will be from viewers?

Aside from Kacy and Brent, I'm looking forward to seeing Sam Saan, Evan Dollard and Rob Ing's runs. Three of my favourite competitors.

Prepare for the Kacy Count to skyrocket tonight. It'll be officially updated on Wednesday when I get home (can't watch tonight while I'm on vacation in Florida, oh darn), but it currently stands at 20. I haven't been keeping exact track, but I'll go through the first two episodes to check. There will be a meta thread later in the week to explain my methodology. For the record, Kacy's run will only count as one.

I'm sure the audience is going to freak OUT when Kacy ends up failing the cargo crossing...

The Kacy Count is currently up to 34, but I only counted her once during the first segment as I missed the intro. I'm only counting mentions on NBC so Twitter, Instagram, etc. all don't add to the count. Otherwise we'd be in the quadruple digits by now
