Jeez, that chain seesaw swing looks brutal. Gonna see a lot of tragic fails there. I'm predicting that just clearing the course will be enough to guarantee a spot in Vegas.

I'm going with Domino hill and see saw cha. As the two that will swap out. The magnet looking one (forgot the name) is taking the place of the log grip I assume. They just say swapable to me.

Well the "Magnet looking one" doesn't have an official name at ANW yet, it's being nicknamed "Spider Slider" so far since it so closely resembles the Cross Slider in what needs done, it just allows legs and has a drop.
As for the vid, this is awesome, I can't wait for it to run. I'm guessing there's some rule about how high you have to get on the Salmon Ladder before moving on based on the testers, I don't know if they're going to let people move onto the rope early if they so choose to

The rope could be shortened so that you would be forced to climb higher on the salmon ladder also.

Indeed it will be. I wasn't around for last season but didn't they have a FAQS section?

Judging by the picture and the video, can anybody tell if the sextuple steps are closer together this year than last year? To me it does...

From the video the distance between the steps this year for the sextuple steps is definitely less than the quad steps. I think with the cool and hard obstacles further down the course, they don't want a bunch of people going out on the quad steps again (as a viewer, we've been watching folks go down on the quad steps for years, so sort of not interesting anymore!).

I'm guessing there's some rule about how high you have to get on the Salmon Ladder before moving on based on the testers, I don't know if they're going to let people move onto the rope early if they so choose to I bet that's completely legal--but if you grab the rope too low, you're going for a swim, I guarantee it. Also the rope looks either really thin or wax-coated, as none of the testers seemed to be able to climb it very effectively, so getting a high salmon ladder is going to be key for passing. I give the producers credit for this one--it's going to make for some entertaining fails when people try and half-a** the salmon ladder only to splash down without actually falling.

It seems from the vids you have to go up 6 rungs.
