UPDATE 2: There are still 30 semi finalists...... The cut off was the nunchucks/ giant swing hybrid. Jesse LaFlair posted the top time. David Campbell and James McGrath cleared. Brian Orosco fell on the nunchucks but likely moved on to the top 30. No word yet on how many semi finalists move on to Vegas.

Some more fails and clears. Brent Steffensen cleared Shane Daniels cleared Frosti likely got kicked out of winner's circle so he likely failed the nunchucks... Luci failed somewhere as well My source thinks Brian Kretsch cleared as well.
Somebody else has got to help me out here! LOL.

Start snooping around for more info right before they run so like 10pm EST from people in the crowd. I won't be home I have work, but if you want any more info, ask around. That's all the information I'm getting.

UPDATE!: Word is there were 10-15 clears If that is true, that is ridiculously low for what was around 180 runners (from the math others provided me). I heard a TON of people were going out on the super-slippery 5-step. If so, that is just WRONG. Did they learn nothing from ANW3?

In the first 20 challengers, over 3/4 of them failed the steps. One guy failed the first step and jumped out back onto the start platform, making it soaked. The next guy slipped and didn't touch the 1st step. People were even sticking the landing on the platform but slipping into the water. The steps were a mess last night.

Not a spoiler at all, but it seems like wiping off your feet after the quintuple steps will be common among everyone who runs.

...it seems like wiping off your feet after the quintuple steps will be common among everyone who runs. Did they coat the steps with something to force all those fails, or was it just water they didn't dry off from previous failures?

If I had to guess. There were about 40 step fails. And not throw always. Real competitors failed it.

Somebody said that something like four-fifths of the competitors failed on the steps. Ryoga says only about 40 fails, which is more like 25%. Any other intel? The people that were clearing the steps...were they single-stepping them and blasting through, or going a more conservative double or triple-step technique? Spoiler Hard to tell on the video of Derek's run...did he just basically long jump Domino Hill?

Anyone in Venice know if the first 25 walkons there definitely competed? Like, the front page of SasukeManiac says that people who submitted a video but didn't get a callback would take priority over people who camped out. Anyone know the truth to this? I have a friend who didn't submit a video but wants to walkon in Baltimore
