I always thought 25-26's Flying Bar was harder. Is that last rung still the same distance as Bar Glider was or is it closer?

Honestly, this finale has made me prefer the boot camp format even more.
Every person that's from boot camp I know 100x more than any other competitor (and therefore root for 100x more), and it seems the people running the course who had the boot camp practice are just more experienced and fluent with the obstacles.
20 second videos of the people doing parkour and so on is no comparison to spending several weeks with them at boot camp. in terms of "getting to know them."

brent's win on stage 2 looked completely legit. I expected NBC to edit that to make it so. I was told by several dozen people who were there he was off by 4 seconds.

Cutting away from the controversial side of ANW4, if anyone's interested here are the final results for it. This includes the Stage 2 and 3 results as they were shown on G4 and NBC. Besides the start position numbers that everyone had, this list is 100% accurate. www.mediafire.com/?bpzajd6j4hbld08

Ahem.Well that should keep you all busy. In the mean time, I liked Stage 3 but the Hang Climb was a complete clusterf***

brent's win on stage 2 looked completely legit. I expected NBC to edit that to make it so. I was told by several dozen people who were there he was off by 4 seconds. Actually I'm not trying to start something, the clock the audience had was apparently notoriously glitchy, I won't say who this came from unless he is fine with me sharing it but (I'm withholding his identity for the message but I can confirm he was someone present in vegas) I remember seeing a vid recorded from an audience camera that showed the clear, when shown on TV the buzzer came in at exactly the same place as it actually did in the sideline vid, and you could time the buzzer (especially since it's every second instead of every other), he was shown to clear with 0.3 seconds which based on timing the last moments is correct... I'm not denying that they ever said anything about running competitors until they get a clear, but in the case of Brent's run (which was the big controversy), I suspect no foul play and I'm usually the first to suspect if something is wrong, I hyper-analyze s***...

I can't speak for the others involved in this convo, but as far as I go, I'm not like challenging the rumors or saying they're wrong. I'm literally asking/wondering "How did they do it? How and in what way did what I just saw get edited?" My question isn't a challenge but one of curiosity. IIRC, after he initially timed out on the Wall Lifting, they re-shot him doing that obstacle again and completing it. I assume that when they edited it, they cut off his initial run after he beat the Metal Spin (but before the 10-second warning klaxon) and then spliced in the re-shot run where he finished "in the nick of time". Point blank, it was rigged. Do I approve of them re-doing the end of Brent's Stage 2 run and the entire Stage 2 runs of multiple other competitors? Of course not. Do I understand why they did it? Yes and no---for ratings/money, yes; for fairness/honesty, no. Am I going to let it bother me whenever I think of ANW? Somewhat, but I'm hoping G4 and NBC learned from this year and hope they don't mess with the results in the future (well, that and the fact that this wasn't Sasuke, which I care way more about ).

I still don't like how they did the Hang Climb, I mean it took the Sending Climber path of design, but did it terribly. I honestly liked it actually, revives the sending climber, gave it a bit of difficulty but still built in a way that's possible, sadly brent didn't clear it but I actually liked that version of it... *runs away before I get any more hate mail*

I thought the course was very well constructed overall except for all the fluffy obstacles (Rolling Log, Spinning Bridge, Balance Tank). The Spinning Bridge required too much luck and the Slider Drop was (and always has been) crap.
It also didn't help that the Balance Tank cylinder flew down the track like it was on ice- Brent looked like a Loony Tunes character clearing it.
I was VERY impressed that Brent cleared the UCH consider that the first 3 obstacles were obscenely difficult. It was a shame that the Hang Climb (??) used those tiny hand grips- if they replicated the Ascending Climb (22-24 version) Brent would have definitely cleared.
I won't get into Brent second stage clear since I don't know, but I was still very impressed. I think it's safe to say that was the most difficult 2nd stage obstacle-wise.

So what were/was the obstacle(s) that competitors (in private) were saying were made poorly/unfairly? The balance tank? I know the slider drop had the wrong bar so they reran that obstacle over and over since no one could pass it As for the name calling with the new kids here I'll ignore them. People who have been reading my blog and posts for years know me better than that. How I'm somehow targeted is always hilarious to watch. Maybe I'm an easier target I guess.

You can call me a new kid but I have been following this forum for years and years, I made an account because of the flash ninja warrior game. I understand the ignoring though, you have clearly been checkmated and owned lol. And btw I wouldve called it quits too, it was getting ugly, better luck next time. P.S. Making unfounded claims without proof never ends well for the accuser

Damn Obstacles killing 23 competitors. The Roulette Cylinder looked like a joke to me. R.I.P. Korey Sarvas. Paul Darnell is the new Rich King . This episode was just crazed up. BTW I preferred this system better than boot camp.

I really hope when G4 and NBC does this again, that TBS and the other companies involved with the building and running of the actual Sasuke course come and help set up. I thought they were supposed to do that from the get go, not send docs on how to set it up, because we now see how that turned out. I loved the look of the course. Just how the obstacles acted were not so good. I didn't get to see the final ep yesterday due to me getting home at 11pm yesterday but from what I'm hearing, it was interesting.. I think next year they will improve like they always do (I mean this years qualifying course was better than past years for sure), and so that means if they have another full course again, it should be built better than this years.. You just improve on your mistakes, which hopefully they will..

Also on that note from my last post, I think who ever designs and builds the courses for Sasuke Malaysia needs to help G4 and NBC out.. Like I said I loved the new look of the course, but I still would prefer the look of the Japan course though.. And plus I'm pretty sure the obstacles in Malaysia don't have issues like ours did..
