Assuming people got THROUGH Stage 2, I wonder how long each Stage would take.
I personally liked the hybrid of old and new obstacles (the Rolling Maruta would have done far more damage if the padding hadn't gone so far out) but they really need to ramp up the presentation. Give us a profile IF the competitor is successful, I don't want to see some guy with an awesome story wipe out on the third obstacle.

Expect a ratings drop this week. The ANW finals fight along side the 1000th episode of WWE RAW.

Give us a profile IF the competitor is successful, I don't want to see some guy with an awesome story wipe out on the third obstacle. Only problem is that stories would basically serve as spoilers if only the people who pass (or even go far in the stage) are the only ones whose stories are shown.

Yeah I'm guessing it's back to G4 for ANW5, granted with what NBC has done that might be a good thing... lol

I thought this finale was going to be 2 hours, but this schedule shows only 1 hour. Do we know which it is? I hope it's 2, considering how many people are still left.

4 stage in Vegas
Until I see pure Japanese confirmation of Sasuke 28, it's not holding my breath

Also, I'm not as excited for this season finale as last year's :/ It's all about timing. If it's this year (meaning Sasuke 28) they can just pick a team from ANW5 or even a mix of ANW5 and precomps (though I doubt they will do that considering that since ANW they haven't done that at all ) We'll see though. If Sasuke 28 is next year (or never) ANW goes on as previously scheduled and airs summer just like this year.

I thought this finale was going to be 2 hours, If its 2 hours then that more than enough time to show all 24 competitors runs. In 44 minutes they can fit in 10 people.

I thought this finale was going to be 2 hours, If its 2 hours then that more than enough time to show all 24 competitors runs. In 44 minutes they can fit in 10 people. Sponsors would likely keep that from happening. Anything for extra revenue. There were only 12 to show for the final part of Stage 1, they still digested people. Unless they get someone to sponsor a limited-commercial broadcast, I see an ugly mix of runs and profiles like usual, with certain people digested that make us go "Why?". Not to mention they'll show multiple post-run interviews/reactions.

WARNING! SPOILERS: Well considering we know Stage 2 brings down 23 of them... I can see them kinda showing plenty of digests, and lots of hype time for the 1 we know makes it and spend time hyping stage 3 before he runs, while profiles and digests already suck... I don't think 2 hours for a slaughter, 1 clear and 1 stage 3 run is going to mean we're seeing a ton with stage 2... not like with stage 1...

Ratings will also drop because it won't be shown in the bay area. There's a Giants game on which blocks out anw. Stupid baseball.
