Yea testers worked for the rigging company or were local stunt / athletic people who opted to get paid that never heard of the show but wanted the money. Hence why they sucked at the obstacles and had to call on the Neo Shin Black Sheep to save the day! Of course NDAs were signed along with more medical paper work etc etc. Thats why the video got yanked down more than likely. I was hoping to get footage but was too afraid to even ask, just would have been nice to have, not like I would have been able to put it in my next try out video lol.

WARNING: HUGE RESULTS SPOILERS BELOW. THEY COME FROM AN ANONYMOUS SOURCE. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO KNOW A TON OF THE RESULTS, DO NOT CLICK THE SPOILER THINGY. The Goodbye rumor IS true. The only guy to "make it" to Stage 3 was Brent Steffensen. He failed somewhere past the UCH. He cleared the UCH because there was 2+ minutes rest between obstacles.
20+ people cleared Stage 1. There must've been a really stringent time limit in Stage 2.
Also, Levi and Brian Orosco didn't get wildcards.

How reliable is the source? He is very reliable. He heard it from people who were there.

Let's be real though, "heard it from a guy" shouldn't be as reliable as it seemingly is made out to be. Granted, that particular spoiler is very specific, so it would be useless to make it up just to troll a few people, unless that person truly is an a**.

Btw I'm not posting it but I did download the video.. just saying.. so don't ask me to repost it. I have no intention of unnecessarily putting my Youtube at risk of being taken down. Anyway as for the rumor.. I thought the rumor was that someone in stage 2 failed and had a rerun of the end to make it look like he made it? Basically faking a stage 2 clear?

You could put it on mediafire, like I did with the vids you know where. And yes, that is the rumor, I think he said it like that because even if the ending was faked, that would still only be one clear, even if it was rigged...

It's not an important video anyway.. and their grandstanding I couldn't stand but I downloaded it knowing it wouldn't survive longer than a week.. it only lasted 2 days. I thought others would have as well. Thanks Strat for explaining why the guys were idiots.. because it really did show they didn't know wtf they were doing.. LOL Given that there really isn't much clamor for the video and honestly it's not important.. I'm not going to risk it As for the rumor: That's.. ridiculous.. I mean .. seriously.. wtf were they thinking giving a gimme? Are they THAT desperate? (meaning NBC).. Now I really don't want to watch the show knowing they fabricated a result.

2+ minutes between obstacles? Rerun on stage 2 for a clear? WTF NBC? Shystieness like this is a true f***ing shame. I'll still be watching but if I find out the rerun rumor is true, then I'll be pissed. As for the 2 minutes, that's lame. Stage 3 is supposed to be a test of strength and endurance. With the 2 minute breaks, David would most likely of won if he made stage 3. Whatever, this is just frustrating news.

Let's remember though This is NBC's 1st time doing it. Besides, we can complain on the FB page when it airs. I honestly don't mind the result. Besides, it's ONE out of 100 results, and still, it's not as rigged as Sasuke 24 or 27 I can forgive that. It's NBC's 1st time, so they're not really sure what to do.

If the rumor really IS true: I'm actually super excited to see the course kick some butt after being such a pushover in 27. ;D

2 minutes rest between obstacles isn't that bad. Pre shin-sasuke era had Nagano taking his sweet time in stage 3.

It was never 2 minutes though, he only went over 30 seconds since the cameramen had to set up...

I don't think this being NBC's first competition is an excuse for them to do this. There's a difference between, "Oh, this obstacle doesn't quite work as expected, oops!" and, "We need a clear! Let's alter the results!" There's a fine line between making mistakes and missing the entire point.

Nobody is complaining about the result numbers. I wouldn't mind if everyone failed stage 1. I actually root for the course every tournament. I'm upset with the fix and the time allowed on stage 3 between obstacles. Read my earlier post closer and you'd realize this.

I think people's training motivations now should be, "Let's train harder so this incident doesn't happen again".

Im just excited that next year means that much more now, since I didnt get a shot this year. I would be happy for anyone that won it all, but I am more motivated now that it seems like nobody has! Plus, I am glad that the course could even overpower the producers' will to interfere with the competition!

I am happy for Brent if he made it farthest. However, if that stage 2 rumor is true, then it's a real shame. It's about time he got some recognition.
