I think it is the Slider Drop, based on that original pic we had it hugged the rails far too much, Sasuke you're allowed a slight bit of give on the drop because of physics... they didn't factor that in for the ANW version... and as for the comment about the metal spin making a name for itself... I don't think it's all the metal spin (which is too close to the water...) The Double Salmon Ladder has the safety weights which make it have more shock so it's more getting into the notches which with the whip is apparently harder, the balance tank looked padded from the small bit we got which would make a difference in the rolling and the stepping...
TBS only sending measurements and not inspecting the course was a huge f**k up... an outside company doing it is a disaster... Even G4 should have inspected it... since those stuntmen didn't know what they were doing... now I can understand why *spoilers, don't complain* david failed stage 1 Yea, there should have been more testers that knew about the competiton, like Mike Bernardo and Ryan Stratis. Oh yes definitely... they should have given much more input on the testing... But they can only do so much to fix the fuckups... even changing minor things doesn't change how the obstacles were built... incorrectly...

God damnit, for a second when I thought that this event was going to actually make ANW better, I start hearing the rumors left and right, and now it's been confirmed true.
I take back everything that I said on twitter Arsenette, btw. The 'G4/NBC doing good job' part.

This f***ing blows. I am glad I wasnt ready for the competition this year, but I am very disappointed. Not having/paying TBS to be consulting and/or inspecting is a huge mistake. Makes sense now that Nagano declined the opportunity to run the course. Either he saw that it was going to be a colossal failure, or he did not want to soil his reputation in the eyes of true Sasuke and Sasuke fans... I would have accepting of something like what happened at 19 when there were so few clears, only makes sense when they have a grand prize of $500k, but to have all the problems be because of inexperienced builders is just another nail in the coffin for NBC....
I would like to say that NBC and G4 can learn from this, but I think we all know that more than likely that will not happen. Arsenette I know you saw this coming, but I never thought we would have them spin/rig it like this. So much for the hype....

So have I, but I want an actual copy of it so I can watch it in all kinds of detail, slowed down, audio amplified, maybe zoomed in a bit... Just wanting to analyze it.
