Last year before the prelims I predicted Travis Rosen as the guy that was relatively unknown that would end up going far. This year I predict Rick Pitcher.

I don't why, but I feel someone wins the Grand Prize, but they won't win the regional prizes.

yeah that's too bad he apparently had a shoulder surgery scheduled right before announcements were made:(. Robby you got me at 14... hmmm little insulted lol, other than that I'm gonna throw two names in the L.A. pot that no body has heard of; Justin Sweeney and Patrick McGrath (my brother) so don't be surprised when they knock someone off your list out of the competition

I just put all of the Tempest and David and crew near the top so I don't forget any of them. You're top 10 for sure which is why I switched it to not offend you LOL. As for your brother and your friend, let's see some entry videos. Maybe I can squeak them in.

I'm not sure about all the 100 going to Vegas. But I think Brian Orosco, David Campbell, Levi Meeuwenberg and some others Japan veterans have a chance( Like Shane Daniels). I think some veteran competitors who haven't been to Japan like Micheal"Frosti" Zernow have a chance. Also you need to expect rookies. Sometimes there are some really good rookies. I just think these are some people determined to go to Vegas.

People still rank David above Levi? How? Dude trained every day for a year and still couldn't beat the UCH, let alone stage 3.
I know Levi was defeated by the old cliffhanger, but that was a different era with different expectations. I pretty much look at Levi as the Nagano of ANW, and David as the Urushihara of ANW, in the sense that Levi/Nagano are just all-around natural/strong athletes, while David and Yuuji are superfans who train extensively on obstacle replicas.
The only difference is: David might simply be too heavy to overcome what his natural limitations are, which no amount of training can overcome. Levi has a way larger upside in my opinion, it's just a matter of whether or not he'll train hard enough. But I don't think there's any question Levi is the natural talent of the two, and think David has at least come very close to hitting his wall. I mean how much more can one train than he has for the last two competitions?
*edit - not to mention the endurance factor. Simply look at that bootcamp challenge in ANW2 where Levi had to go twice... and STILL had the two fastest times!

People ran David over Levi because Levi has no chance of beating stages 3 and 4. He may be better suited for stage 1, MAYBE stage 2, but it stops there. He has no chance of clearing the UCH while David has an incredibly realistic chance.
Also your post has spoilers in it.

David is stronger and more powerful than Levi. Levi lacks raw, physical strength and that's apparent when he runs the course. Sure, maybe David's training didn't exactly serve him well last time, but whatever. It happens.
I have questions for you: How can you not overcome your weight, through either more training or weight loss? How do you know David's natural limitations? How do you know Levi is naturally a better athlete? How do you know David is essentially maxed out on his training? Why do you think there's a limit in the first place? Are you aware that you're comparing Levi to someone who has won once and David to someone who has won twice but still claiming that Levi is a better competitor?
And I ain't some fanboy, neither. David's definitely not the wonderboy people around here make him out to be. He has great skill in some areas and falls flat in others and in my opinion his training needs to change if he wants to beat all four stages.
THAT BEING SAID: You don't know what you're talking about.

Heeeeeeey, just because yuuji won twice, doesn't make him better than Nagano. He just got an easy final stage in sasuke 27.
And besides, David could be reaching the wall as he is 34. He only has a few, if any years left at the top. Levi is much younger and has many years to improve
