For anyone else that wants to scan the broadcast to look for clues on what happened to the other competitors in SASUKE 27. Discussion and pics go here,

I could have sworn that when they were doing Stage 3, I saw a small camera crew around Nagano, sitting down, and he looked to be wearing a sleeveless shirt, and he was by himself.

I think we have a Final Stage attempt, the final stage was fully lit, set up, and they were using angles only for attempts (Such as the coming down from inside the tower facing the ground or the panning side view)

Speculation first: I think you can see Nagano sitting down in preperation for his run at the Third Stage.
At the same time, he was sitting in the furthest chair to the right. Meaning that anyone who went after him in the order does not make it that far. Can anyone confirm this for me?
Now for straight discussion: I think we're going to see 25 to 30 people clear the First Stage. No offense to Jake Smith, but if he can complete it, I think there's quite a few others who can as well.
I'm really excited to see who else makes it to the 2nd Stage. Personally, I've wanted to see Yamada and Wakky on the 2nd Stage for the longest time, and I think that's very plausible this time around.
I cannot wait to see SASUKE 27 now.

Nagano is clearly there getting ready for his stage 3 run and I think he will make the final stage the tower and 23 m rope climb was fully set up. |

Agreed ansem and you don't need spoiler tags for this topic  Nagano was the last one to go in the chairs lineup. There was one person (white shirt) who made it to the Third Stage and competed between David and Nagano. Ishikawa made it, he went after McGrath. (I gotta double check, but you can clearly see him) With this time limit, I can definitely see 30 clears as well and I agree about the Yamada comment, he has a shot now. |

Nagano can be see as the last chair for the 3rd Stage. Next to him during either James or Strat's run I saw someone with no shirt who looked like Kanno. Okuyama could be seen with his number on viewing from the sidelines during Paul's run. Lee was seen in many shots during the 3rd Stage as well.
Takeda could be seen in full uniform during the 2nd Stage along with Shingo (Full uniform, but I think I saw a white towel), suggesting they both cleared the 1st Stage

Pretty sure a saw several shots of Kouji Hashimoto preparing for a third stage run, talking to Li
In addition, chalk fingerprint marks on the edge of the UCH suggest that somebody (before James McGrath) cleared it..could've been a tester, but there were definitely chalk marks

Also, I'm a little peeved no one wore their numbers on the ANW broadcast.
It's not a big deal, but it would certainly help in determining who those people sitting in the chairs were.
I mean, the guy with the white shirt could be Okuyama, but that's nothing more than a guess. If we had numbers, we could really narrow down the options.
Plus, I wanna be selfish and see if I was right about my predictions.

Based on the new and improved first stage, everyone has a fair chance.
I actually do see 20+ first stage clears so who knows how it will end.

I think a fair over/under for stage 1 clears is 22.5, and 10 for stage 2 clears.

I'm pretty sure I see Lee and Takeda in the "s**t pic". Lee was wearing a blue shirt if Im not mistaken and you can see orange pants and a black shirt on the other guy. |
