There will be a Sportsman No. 1 Navi airing at 5 PM the same day. Friggin' awesome. I adore the Navi shows. Considering I'm a total rookie to this show it will help knowing more about it and the competitors Looking forward to it!

Problem: TBS hasn't been on for the past week, at least for me. Anyone else notice this? And any possible alternatives?

K a week to go. So far the only reliable feed will be KeyHole unless something drastically changes. Anyone might be able to record this somehow? I'll be blogging it using KeyHole like I always do provided it's working at the time.
Ube you doing this too? I'll have to rely heavily on you to get the people straight and as to what's going on. I'm not used to the format, etc.

Yes, keyhole looks to be the most reliable source so far. If a few people want to get together and chat during the show, I'll probably have something going on AIM. Just send me a message there, or tell me if your in here.
As for recording, I guess someone can use the ol' camstudio + keyholetv combo if they can work the audio and get the frame rate up to where a video would be watchable (and not just like looking at a slideshow). Also, after the tournament, look out for rips on VEOH. Sasuke 21 was posted there (but as since been taken down) and so was Pro Sportsman 2008 (again, that was taken down). If a good quality rip does pop up somewhere like that, it would be great.

If anyone uses Firefox, you might be able to get the recording for yourself before it gets off of Veoh, provided you have the right plugin.

I think the pro sportsman number 1 show, I believe starts at about 3am EST, or 12am PST (if you are in california or the west coast) because we are 14-17 hours behind Japan's time, but if someones records it, at the middle of the night I will be more than happy to watch, plus I want to see what shane victorino does and if miyazaki defends his title, so I could watch it a couple of days later, (it is also NFL football weekend, that saturday and sunday, so I need to see it if I have the time, school, football to watch and work). Well I am looking forward to watch it laterz Richard

www.tbs.co.jp/tv/daily/20090103.htmlTBS has it in their schedule now. They don't have their own respective pages but it's up finally. Navi is at 17:00 local time.. that's 5 PM Japan.. which means 3 am Eastern on Saturday for me.. goes for an hour.. then they have news at 18:00 (6pm) for half an hour.. then the main show starts at 18:30.. so that's 6:30 PM so that's 4:30 am Saturday for me in the East Coast. Show is approximately 2 1/2 hours. Navi is pretty close to the real show though which I guess is good.. last time I had to wait like 4 hours until the Sasuke started.

I think this is the first time a figure skater has participated. There are usually a lot of baseball players.
