Also.. So Kane and Naoki are the only 2 celebrities to win the sports one against sports guys?

OK, at this point I think there must be some kind of side competition going since someone on mixi (who seems to be in the know - they knew about the 1/3 air date ahead of time) states that the following NOAH (same company as Mitsuharu Misawa) wrestlers will be there: 秋山準 (Akiyama Jun) and 丸藤正道 (Naomichi Marafuji). Marafuji is a junior heavyweight so in theory he'd be fine but Akiyama is another aging (albeit not as old as Misawa) heavyweight who would barely clear the lower levels of the Monster Box. Also appearing are Lee Jong-Wook イ・ジョンウク/이종욱 of South Korea's Doosan Bears baseball team and football player 里見恒平 (Satomi Kouhei). The same person also states that Naoki Iketani will be there.

Makes me wonder what kind of broadcast they need to wait show long after filming.
What time (Eastern time US that is) will this be shown anyways?

Ugh...at least it's a Saturday. Are we sure there's no way to program VLC to record?
What's the status on the mystery MLB player?

Again, it is playing on the 3rd AT NIGHT in Japan. Since Japan is 13 hours AHEAD of EST, I think you can figure it out...

TVガイド (TV Guide - not the same thing as the US version) adds: 興梠慎三 (Kouroki Shinzou) of the Kashima Antlers (J-League Soccer)
Also, 大リーグ世界No.1外野手ゴールドグラブ賞シェーン (Major League World No. 1 Outfield Gold Glove Winner Shane) which means that it has to absolutely be Shane Victorino since no other outfielder named Shane was won a Gold Glove in the NL or the AL ever.
There will be a Sportsman No. 1 Navi airing at 5 PM the same day.

You mean Alan Ladd never played ball? [/obscure joke] Looks like I'll have to keep my ear to the local sports news to see if anyone picks this up.
I assume 5PM means Japan time.
