I think it's 3 pairs of chains that must be grabbed simultaneously. So I think the competitors will have to leap to each pair.
Remeber though, there is a small opportunity to rest before it.

I wonder if they have to wear gloves for the chain obstacle.

I wonder if they have to wear gloves for the chain obstacle. they don't hold onto the chains.

There's no reason to. The ends of the chains are padded.

They explained the who numchuck obstacle on AOTS. You do not grab the chains, you grasp the rubber endings provided on the end of the chain (Sorta like the metal spin) There are 3 "Sets" each with two "Chains" that ypu grab onto. Now here is the hard part- When you're hanging onto one of the chains on a set, that chain falls down while the other one will go up, thus increasing the level of difficulty to extreme. You must then swing to the other sets while trying to keep the chains balanced.
This will be no easy obstacle. The only question I have is this: Why is there one METAL ladder and then one WOOD ladder? I know why they're there, but why are they different? Maybe you're allowed to use your legs on one of them but not the other?

Well, I can't believe I'm the first person to say this, but it looks like only one track is raised. Way to go TBS, making a physically impossible obstacle. Dead wrong minus.com/mbpp8xXuuM#15

Not to try to defend RC here *kills self*... I think he means that he's disappointed theres only one raise in the tracks, I think he probably wanted something more like the ANW1 Pipe Slider in reverse (maybe not with such height but the same idea)

I could've sworn I saw a full raise...

That pipeslider is the one I was looking at.. LOL That is totally Sim Sasuke What? how he has had that up and down pipe slider starting Stage 3 recently? Yeah I can see the similarity, it's just aside from the trampoline/springboard the Launching Pad (I think sheep called it) is pretty much an exact copy XD

Okay, course started out good, but the third stage is now, in my opinion, a junkyard of sucky obstacles.

I just hate the fact they halved the swing circles! and yet kept the stupid 3 ropes.

Right now I'm not a fan of the third stage at all... Its a mess. The new pipe slider is not really well thought out or done very well... And the arm bike again? Really? The RC was awesome!

The Chainsaw looks good, but it's so messy, make it orderly.
Here's what needs to be done for SASUKE 28, in my opinion, please read those three key words.
First Stage; 1. Make the Cannonball the third obstacle. 2. Either make the Halfpipe Attack safer or replace it with a hard obstacle that won't break someone's leg! 3. Put in a big seventh obstacle that we're all used to.
Second Stage; 1. Get rid of the Slider Drop and put in something more creative. 2. Put the caps on the end of the Salmon Ladder bar back on! 3. Either make the Balance Tank more appealing, or put something different in. 4. Reduce the time limit to either 80 or 85 sec.
Third Stage; 1. Put the DG back in Stage 3 and modify it (What I mean by that, you'll just have to find out.) 2. Put in four rings, not two. 3. Get rid of the ladders. 4. Make the Chainsaw neat and tidy. 5. Put in something more creative than the Bungee Rope Climb.
That's what I want.
