I'm rooting for Takahashi, personally. He's always done really well before, and now he's better than ever. I have high hopes for a lot of people, but he's probably my favorite right now. With the way the course is, I'd have to say the people with the best shots would be Yuuji, David (Although we know he's out of the question this time), Possibly Okuyama and Lee/Li, maybe Ryo if he clears stage 1 How dare you not name..... Nagano he is better rope climber than all of em so how can he not be favorite.

The same goes for Nagano, possibly Urushihara. I really think the 3rd and 4th stages are Urushihara's strong points. But he seems to have trouble with the first two at times. Okuyama and Li are definitely good choices. They've been the most consistent, and probably are the strongest ones right now. With that said, I would love to see a great recovery from the All-Stars and the New-Stars. And even Kinnikun. This will surely be a great tournament.

At this point if someone makes the final stage they definitely deserve to win, their skill level is high enough if they made it that far. I'm rooting for Takahashi, personally. He's always done really well before, and now he's better than ever. I have high hopes for a lot of people, but he's probably my favorite right now. Agreed, out of everybody I'd love to see Takahashi do it, especially after the safety harness screw up at Sasuke 24.

Agreed, out of everybody I'd love to see Takahashi do it, especially after the safety harness screw up at Sasuke 24. He's by far one of the greatest contenders. He is consistently very quick, and has a great upper body. If he hadn't got the safety rope tangled, he easily could have reached the top.

Edit: Whatever. It was on TV in Japan. That's enough for me. No spoiler tags for me.
Not my video. The very end is the same as what I saw. If the ending wasn't enough, the text floating on the screen below says 完全制覇者は誰だ (Kanzenseihasha wa dare da).

It's only 10 seconds, but that's easily my favorite Sasuke commercial.

Although it is true that whoever may win is completely deserving of it, IMO it's way too soon after Yuuji's win in 27. It's really weird imagining that there was just recently a win only 3 tournaments ago, plus the idea of how we go from hoping somebody beat the UCH to an entire course victory. Point blank just very awkward if you ask me. Also, if somebody did win, what does that hold in store for the future of Sasuke? Will we even get to see a 5th era, or will the lack of high ratings as of very recently mean the end of it for good?

Yamafiend this what my concern is too will they bother doing another course?
As for the win they kinda had it coming for blatently making stage 3 IMO a fair way easier.

2 things about your comment SRW: 1.) I wouldn't necessarily say it was made TOO much easier, I think it's just that the skill level of the competitors is becoming too great to gauge correctly how difficult the course should be. After all, people like Yuuji and Ryo could probably crush Stage 3, whereas many others would still need a while to obtain a similar skill level. Overall, the course (especially Stage 3) has become too hard to balance out difficulty-wise, which I could see as another reason why Sasuke's future is looking dimmer now than ever before. On the positive side, I still can't wait to see 27! 2.) it's yamfriend, not "yamafiend"

I honestly always felt stage 3 was easy post the UCH and then with the changes in 27 assuming you saw ANW 3 finals ditching the RC and DKG for a start for a obstacle what was never failed surely tells you something be it for ratings or whatever. They clearly wanted to make clearing the UCH more possible but its potentially backfired big time and they didn't expect someone to bust up the whole course from then on.

Even though i thought Yuuji might acheive total victory - something tells me that Ryo might just have done it all.

Final Stage: Looks like rope climb ALL THE WAY.

Well yeah that obstacle should be a cakewalk for anybody who can make it to Stage 3 nowadays, but I wouldn't underestimate the rest of the stuff after the UCH. We haven't seen any competitors attempt any of those obstacles, and that Chain Saw thing looks very tricky if you ask me. Also, that Bar Glider/Pipe Slider variation could pose some problems, and especially the final jump to the platform as we know is way easier said than done; it's taken out every All-Star at least once, as well as a few others. Those obstacles shouldn't be seen as easy and/or guarantee a Stage 3 clear if you ask me, especially when you factor in the wide skill range for those who get there.

Yep, definitely sneaking into the computer lab 3rd period for this. I'm SO pissed off. THREE TOURNAMENTS? You built a freaking impossible cliffhanger that ended the first two tournaments and now you just gave up a kanzenseiha. My head hurts SO much at these morons who made this course. Ugh. Ugh. UGH!

That's been the most annoying thing about this place recently. Some of the responses when competitors do what they are supposed to do and try to win it all. Sometimes you think there are more responses criticizing the producers for "not meeting expectations" than the actual skill of the competitors.

I'm still not convinced we're getting a final stage or a win for that matter. (So everyone calm down lol) For all we know they're using a shot from 24. They didn't change the final stage structure from 24->25. So it's really hard sale. If anything it's a ploy to grab viewers and get back above 10%
