No! All you have to do is go down a padded ramp, no rollers, just a simple padded slope, then you reach the curtain.

Back to the slider drop. The problem with this obstacle for me is that it is just too easy, uncreative and just plain boring to watch. Going back and comparing it to older second-stage starters:
Chain Reaction: In order to pass this, it takes grip strength, timing, and upper body strength. Downhill Jump: It takes balance, grip, and timing Slider Drop: It takes minimal grip and the ability to keep a bar straight.
Witht he first two, there are many ways to mess up and many people have messed up. As stated before, many people have failed due to things such as lack of grip on the first chain of the CR during the jolt at the end of the track, and lack of balance on the downhill part of the downhill jump. The only person to fail the slider drop did not even know that the bar could come off and that the obstacles could actually put someone in the water. When people were on it during Sasuke 26, my mind did not even register it as an obstacle and I was already thinking about the DSL. The slider drop is unoriginal, unexciting, and just plain bad. I don't think it should be back.
By the way, could we stop talking about our own obstacle ideas? This is a prediction board.

Besides this isn't really the best place for made up obstacle ideas. There's an entire thread in the General Board dedicated to that. sasukemaniac.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=2736

What the **** is that?
And again, I think the Slider Drop would be cool. Make the drop higher, have a larger gap between the end, or something, and it would be something I like.

I had a strange premonition the other night and I cannot get it out my mind! Lee is gonna clear stage 3!
Ps if this does happen you heard it here first before the show was even taped so I have no prior knowledge and I told Scnoi about this the other day too my hunch.

It's really funny that you said this. I had a dream last night of the actual airing of the next SASUKE, that Lee and Ryan Stratis both made the Final Stage. I don't even know how Stratis got in there, but he was there. In the dream David Campbell failed the Jumping Spider, and Okuyama got to the Flying Bar but for some reason I never remember seeing his failure. I can't remember the fates of the other competitors. It was very odd.

I really do think sometimes we see images in our minds and then some day in reality they happen for real and your left thinking _ I am sure ive had this vision before.
I'm not claiming to be a psychic far from it but I have had alot of hunches in the past in life and sort of seen something happening and its come to fruition in one shape or another and this is the first ever one I have had over something like SASUKE.

I had a dream as well. The RE was more straight, and the first three competitors to run all failed it

It seems that Yamada passed the jumping spider. Demo course but still definitely gives confidence.

Let me preface this by saying that I don't know anything about Sasuke 27. I think that we'll have at least two Americans in the final stage, and at least one beat it.

I want Nagano in the final again more than anything!
However I have a real premonition Lee is going to make it there in 27! I'm calling it!
I doubt anyone is gonna beat the final stage though in 27 unless there was another Major time limit c*** up.

The Flying Bar will not be beaten in 27, we'll have to wait until 28 for that to occur.
Nagano had better have cleared stage 1.

We still havent attempt on obstacles after UCH, but they looks really tough. It could be really interesting (if 25th disaster will not happen again)
