60$ for a portable game? No thanks. I think he means $60 Australian dollars. Things cost more in Australia than here in the US. Here, it is $39.

Just bought the Half-Life Complete Pack on Steam. I'm playing through them in order, so I'm still on Half-Life 1, but it is AMAZING!!!!! I can't believe that I went this long without playing it!

Found out that the place I'm staying at blocks Steam from connecting to the internet. Funny thing is I only find this out AFTER spending 65 bucks via the webpage buying Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim. So they're sitting there on my account but I can't download the bloody things.

Thread needs more Dark Souls. I bought Demon Souls a few months back and just could not stick it through. I could not hack it. Just finished all my playthroughs on Mass Effect 2 that included the Arrival DLC in anticipation of ME3 in a week or so. I can't play the game till May due to Uni but i made the mistake of playing the ME3 Demo. And now i'm replaying ME1. DAMNIT!

LOL) and we got the original Dark Souls. He's played it through a few times. I can't play it at all.. I totally suck at it.. ahahahaha As for M1. I would strongly recommend playing them in order as something like 700+ decisions from ME1 transfer to ME2. Besides.. I love the story... and yeah.. playing the ME3 demo first... yeah.. about that huge spoiler.. LOL

I bought Demon Souls a few months back and just could not stick it through. I could not hack it. I would try Dark Souls if I were you. IMO it's a LOT more forgiving than Demons Souls. Over-all it's not actually a really hard game, just takes time and tenacity, but it is a very rewarding experience if you put in the effort. It's easily my favorite current gen game. Demons Souls is great too but I think Dark Souls is on a completely different level. Hubby and I got a PS3 last year (go go Sony points.. didn't pay a dime.. LOL) and we got the original Dark Souls. He's played it through a few times. I can't play it at all.. I totally suck at it.. ahahahaha Demons Souls is great. You should tell him to pick up Dark Souls. If he enjoyed the first he'll LOVE the second (though it's not technically a direct sequel). It's simply fantastic. Anyone who thinks rpg's are dying obviously havn't played the Souls series

Also check out this site everyone. www.unikgamer.com/You can go through and make lists of your favorite games, and share them. It's pretty cool. here is my top 25 games of all time. www.unikgamer.com/users/badalight-3357.htmlNote: After the top 10 the order gets kind of iffy, but those are definitely my favorite games throughout my life.

Just bought Skyrim, but my computer doesn't run it well at all . I'm getting a framerate of <10 fps, and the mouse is all glitchy.
