So I took a break from my manga conquest this month due to Dark Souls being a 70 hour game.
However, as soon as I finish I'll get back into the swing of things. I try to read at LEAST 1 manga a month, I like finishing 2 but college can be a handful at times.
October was supposed to be berserk but that isn't happening. Maybe I'll start writing reviews when I finish em.

So I just watched episode 172 of Gintama, and in the middle mentioned about Sasuke and Muscle Ranking. Mainly talking about Kane Kosugi and Naoki Iketani. Nothing too extravagant. I know there isn't many Gintama fans on here, but just in case someone wanted to see it. There ya go.

For anybody else interested, it start at 10:00 and lasts for roughly 3 minutes.
They mention Kane Kosugi, Yukio Iketani, Naoki Iketani, and Shoei. They also directly mention Muscle ranking and Sasuke.
They showcase things like the monster box challenge and the shotgun touch.
As for Sasuke, they show an obvious jump hang, warped wall, and rope climb (end of the first stage). Plus they show the Sasuke 1-4 final stage.

That was the 5-17 final stage, look at the Spider Climb at the base of his feet. But nice find, I thought that Those things I found in Dog Days were nice finds

I don't watch much anime, but I like this series: It is called F-Zero: Falcon Densetsu (Literally F-Zero: Falcon Legend). It is based off the video game series F-Zero.

I know i'm late to the party with these specific titles, but I finally got around to finishing Death Note and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann last month. Both were really good, but Gurren Lagann took like 6 episodes to start getting good, while Death Note only took like 2 episodes.

After months (see: years) of suggestions, finally watching Ouran High School Host Club. It's amazingly hilarious and i'm only on the third episode so far.

LOL I own that I love how it doesn't take itself seriously and adores making fun of every single cliche out there. I might watch a marathon of it again.. LOL P.S. I just marathon'ed xxxHolic again The past month was Mushishi, xxxHolic, Nana and Chobits

Nana is the only one arsenette listed that I've enjoyed. It's so much better than the average shoujo. This is coming from a guys perspective, anyway.

Nana is the only one arsenette listed that I've enjoyed. It's so much better than the average shoujo. This is coming from a guys perspective, anyway. I actually started with the live Action then found the anime (though the manga came first.. then anime then movie.. still hate movie 2.. LOL) but yes that's one of my favorite all-time series. It's not kidsie and I think that's the part I like the most. Outside of the rock star thing I like how human they are.. filled with real emotions and flaws as opposed to a perfect world. Still has humor and goofy scenes but the overall story seems more "real" to me. I do have to wait until the box set is cheaper.. that's an expensive set.. hoping it goes into save edition.. otherwise I don't think I can ever afford it.. for now Nana is permanently on my queue on Netflix. Besides.. I friggin' LOVE the soundtracks Btw.. didn't like xxxholic? This is a series I adore.. still getting into the rest of the series (which isn't in the USA yet.. ) and adore the cross over with other CLAMP series. holic though is my favorite of the stories followed by Chobits which has almost nothing to do with it but has a loose tie to holic being a CLAMP series.

Not gonna lie, I'm not a huge clamp fan. Aside from card captor sakura that I watched as a child, I don't particularly like their other stuff. Not that it's bad, just not for me. I usually read manga, and don't watch animes. However I still look at the OST's and what not. More often than not I read the manga while listening to the ost

I didn't even know they were connected until I started seeing "cameos" and little bits like props in each other's shows. I haven't seen Card Captor Sakura.. missed the boom entirely since I wasn't into the magical girl thing (same with Sailor Moon) and only recently have I started to connect the dots with CLAMP stuff. Haven't seen Tsubasa either.. that seems tied more to xxxholic more than anything but they feel totally different. Again.. Try xxxholic ;D

I may eventually, but as I said I'm 90% a manga reader 10% anime watcher. I also have a queue at the moment and i hate going out of order As for Tsubasa, I'd say it's more tied to Card Captor Sakura. I mean the 2 main characters are literally the 2 main characters from Card Captor Sakura. Hoping I can get through a manga over winter break because I've been really lazy up until this point.

Also double post, but we should post top 10 lists, because everyone loves those. Badalight's Exceptional list of top 10 manga he has ever read (and finished) 1. Rookies 2. Jojo's Bizarre Adventure 3. Berserk 4. 20th Century Boys 5. Hajime no Ippo 6. One Piece 7. Eyeshield 21 8. Battle Royale 9. Monster 10. Lucifer and the Biscuit hammer I can go more into depth about why every single series in that top 10 is absolutely amazing if anyone cares It's about half shounen half seinen. Lots of different genres present though, sports, fighting, etc.

Monster, Battle Royale, E21, and ROOKIES are all really good. Monster is about a surgeon. Battle Royale is like The Hunger Games. E21 is football. ROOKIES is baseball, but Kawato-sensei gives very good life lessons.

Warning for Ippo and Jojo's though, those were summer long reads

I swear I've told that to you before. It took me 2 days to read 98 chapters.

I swear I've told that to you before. It took me 2 days to read 98 chapters. Actually, Jojo's is longer than Ippo. Here's the reason. Ippo is a battle manga with very few words per chapter. Ippo's chapters are like 15 pages long. Jojo's weekly chapters are usually around 26 pages. Jojo's has like 80 chapters that are 60+ pages because it went monthly. Jojo's has around 1,000 chapters. I will read it eventually. It's short so yeah I could probably get that done pretty quickly. I only have 2 more things on my queue, but they're both highly praised manga so I want to take my time with them.
