In honor of the Attack on Titan Season 2.. I present to you the only opening I accept for it.. I'm surprised no one tried to to do a recreation of this version. X3

It's the fact that it involved Kakeru losing his life... That got me emotionally hyped up a bit... *i apologise for spoiler disclosure*

The orange manga is good, or at least half good. It's got some problems due to behind the scenes stuff. Basically the author got fired while writing it around the halfway point. Since she was fired, the series got canceled and she moved onto a new magazine and started writing something else. Once she got popular in her new magazine, they bought the rights to her old manga so that she could finish it. Though, basically everything that she wrote from that point on was kind of average and didn't live up to what came before it. She was yeaaaaars removed from that point, so I don't really blame her.

Miss Konosuba's Dragon Maid is apparently a big thing at the moment on Facebook. Memes are being made about the anime. Crap...did I just say Konosuba? I meant Kobayashi... -_-

I haaaaaaaaaate MAL And CR is blocked in Japan Why should Crunchyroll be banned in Japan if anime itself originated from Japan? Because there are other ways to get anime in Japan (watching in on actual TV). Japan is pretty behind the times when it comes to streaming services. With CR in particular, the anime studios don't actually make very much profit off their stuff being on CR. It's really allowed to exist because they know people are going to watch their stuff illegally anyway, so they might as well get SOME kickback from it.

That entire statement is not exactly true.. but it would take a hell of a lot longer to explain other than the first part - they already air it in Japan on television so they black out other stations carrying it (same as watching a sports team where the local channel gets first dibs). The other TLDR answer is licensing rights worldwide muddy it up depending on who is involved locally.

Watched Your Name, subtitled, last night. Enjoyed it and really enjoyed the ease of being able to watch a subtitled anime movie in theatres. Got to watch Sailor Moon R subtitled in February and now Your Name. The days of only being able to watch dubbed Miyazaki movies in theatres are becoming faint memories. Attachment Deleted
