I still don't know how people think changing a stationary Spider Climb + rope combo into a wooden unstable ladder + rope combo which is a foot taller warrents just a 5 second time increase.

No I agree 35 would be SUPER strict, but I still think it'd be possible. I'd agree somewhere in the middle of 35-40, but they tend to do things in increments of 5 (except for a few rare occasions).

I think the reason people say that is because it was supposed to be harder than Sasuke 5-17 and 35 seconds would have been definitely harder.

Yeah, I do think 5-17 was the hardest final stage to date. I would've loved a 37-38 second final stage, but that's just... weird?
I just didn't really like the rope ladder idea to begin with. Especially since it took away those awesome drops.

You can actually see the final stage in a promo piece with Alison.

You can actually see the final stage in a promo piece with Alison. I don't think they would've had it all set up though. If I'm wrong then hot damn.

I just watched what I think baron is talking about. Basically the one where she's all nervous and has to suit up in safety gear and then they show bloopers of her on the top of the tower.

Some of these same people are replacing difficulty in place of logic. 15 for each part in 5-17. How could you logically separate 35 for a shaky rope ladder and a rope we still haven't had a consesus of whether or not it was fixed in some way?

It didn't take 15 for each part in 5-17, if it took 15 for the first part the walls would've separated, anyway.
In my mind the final stage should be a mad dash to the top, and it would take a perfect run to beat not just a "good" run.
Yuuji who isn't a very good rope climber beat it on his second try. Not trying to take anything away from Yuuji since he's amazing, but I think the time limit still could've been lower.

It didn't take 15, but that was the general idea of it. What justifies a perfect run over a good one? Wouldn't a perfect run mean actually hitting the buzzer on time and a good one mean just missing it? He was a terrible rope climber in 22 but he got better. Nagano isn't exactly the king of rope climbing either.

It's not set up in the Alison promo, why would it be? They only set it up when someone beats stage 3.

I assume he means this one... but the final stage to be attempted isn't set up... just the tower itself...
