Just wondering what you guys think will be the new design of the Final Stage...
Personally, I think it will be something similar to the Devil's Steps obstacle, except climbing straight up or in a winding path. THEN about 1/2 way up it would transition to another G-Rope.

Would personally like something where the rope can plunge, Nagano's fall in 13 was epic.

Yes, what a great idea you made up in that brilliant head of yours that you made up by yourself, and only yourself, yes amazing There was actually multiple threads, seriously, people love to speculate on the final stage lol.

It's pretty much impossible to predict exactly... ...but I think it's safe to say there will be a rope climb. I say go extreme and attach the rope to a helicopter so when the competitors transfer to the rope, they go up with the rope. Back into the realm of possibility, there will be a rope unless they put something like a pole; in other words, there will be some type of thin, vertical strand for the second half. My guess would be that for the first half,... I don't have a guess. I'm probably uncreative but I seriously can't think of anything. I mean, there's not many creative ways to go straight up. They could put a staircase, but this is not Geriatric Sasuke. Short of levitation, what could they do that's harder? How about a series of 5 Warped Walls? We've already talked about a 25 foot Salmon Ladder . What about a trampoline and you have to gather enough momentum and height to grab the rope that's 25 feet off the ground? What about if M9 is fooling us all and the final stage tower is just a decoy? And when someone finally reaches the last notch of the flying bar, the ground opens up, and, in the same style as Iron Chef's secret ingredient reveal, 7 MORE third stage obstacles come erupting from the ground in a huge dramatic show? And to tease everyone, the final stage is Sasuke 1 and 2's Mountain Climb with a time limit of 2 minutes and 45 seconds. As you might be able to tell, I'm extremely tired right now and I'm going on a nutty rampage. I don't particularly like these prediction threads because there's absolutely nothing to go by. Back to the topic (I promise) I think a board climb is preposterous. I could see people going 10 maybe 15 feet before failing.

The only thing I can see going under the rope now is some kind of rock wall or a net to be honest unless they can come up with something better then just make it a 23m rope lol.

It will most definiely be something thin. The final stage ending is still a platform with a small circular hole. If it ended with something like a rock climb it wouldn't be like that (it would be like k8 final stage)

Don't know if anyone came up with this, but a giant curtain cling followed by rope.

At this point all I can even fathom would be a moving rock wall, with very few artifacts for the first half. Of course that means if Li gets there he's got it in the bag Or maybe they found a way to pull off the multiple rope climb.

I still think it will be spider walk, then ladder, then rope.
The 3 put together.
OR
A long spider flip "climb" then the jump, a bit more climb and rope. Or just spider flip climb and rope. That would be hard.

I thought the idea was kind of dumb, but what about a really long Salmon Ladder, but your safety rope pulls you up by 20% of your weight, so it's easier and faster to go up it.

It would be pretty boring to watch. I mean just the DSL is enough really. I hope they don't go for a triple version unless it's like 3 ledges each.

Maybe, but let's not and say it did happen Since it's the same height, I won't be surprised if it's the ladder + multiple rope combo we were supposed to get. I mean rock wall just seems too simple of a successor, Spider Climb is impossible without the setup already there, and just two multiple ropes is regressing even further.

Why not something like arm rings which you must ascend on small salmon ladder-like notches. That would be kinda neat, then have the second half rope climb.
Or just a giant spiraling upward devil steps into a rope climb. Lol.

At this point all of our "speculation" will be only what we think would be cool to see lol. Our only pieces of (somewhat) solid info is that - there is no spider climb - the last piece is something thin like a rope or pole (probably a rope) judging from the finish platform.

I did like the idea of going up 1 side like a spider flip, and 1/3 of the way up you jump to the other side and climb that till you get to the rope.
The only problem is the safety line would be hell to keep untangled.

How is it possible to climb a verticle board? What is there to grip onto? Unless there's footholds, I can't see anyone doing that.
Remember on the Spider Flip, there was no point where they were just on the verticle portion.
Honestly, right now the only thing I think they could do is have a Kunoichi 6 final stage but with a rope and a longer Wall Climb.
I would love a Spider Climb-Rope Ladder-Rope final, but I don't think they'll do a 3 obstacle final.
