I'm sure most of you know this already, but I cannot stress enough how awesome a nicely set up park can replicate the course for your training
I always wait until night of course when no one is around
Bring a timer as a bonus

Yes. Playgrounds are the best training grounds. Monkey bars are always good and you can practice multiple obstacles in that one spot. I think Japantv1210 had a series of videos where he practiced different obstacles on one monkey bars. Also those bridges are great for Curtain Cling practice.
And of course you can practically Cliffhanger everything.

Yeah, I do the same thing, I know of a few obstacles I can do, like Jumping Bars then Climbing Bars then Swing Lader all in the same space, And what bridges and how is that the Curtain Cling. And look for these things called the Infinity Loop and you can get the Cliffhanger on it (You can even do the new one with the jump) And if you hang onto the bottom near the top you can do something similar to the Ascending Climb.

Good point about the playground idea, it's like what the course really is. Sasuke is like playground from hell.

Yea, I had some videos where I practiced a bunch of obstacles on the same playground. If anyone's interested, you can check them out at www.youtube.com/user/fredzajac They would be the videos that are labeled NW... Everything else is my younger brother and his friends skateboarding or something. And, I definately agree that playgrounds are a great place to train for Ninja Warrior. You can do pullups, muscle ups, replicate obstacles, etc. You just have to be creative. After filming those videos that day, I was pretty sore, especially since I filmed them all in a row.

I have to resort going to other playgrounds, mine's is kiddie personified. And by kiddie, I mean 5-6. Still, doesn't stop me from making 3 stages from it (4th is crossing a torn gate poles, safer than it sounds)

One thing I forgot to mention that's a lot harder than it sounds: Find a swing set a swing from chain to chain
Wow, it freaking hurts, especially if they're metal

What chains are you using?
The chains I use are slippery and takes some good grip to hold onto.
Anyway, I have a park about 10 seconds from my house... it's practically my backyard.

Just a note on the torn gate pole thing, do not ever climb a chainlink fence again, unless you're running from the cops... i know lol and i know that is also random.

Holding onto chains is difficult, I don't have the grip strength, and it hurts your hands, not to mention pinches your skin.
I tried it today, did about 3 transfers and had to stop from the energy in my arms draining and my hands just hurt like hell.

I can climb a chain link fence better than I can climb chains. I hopped a fence a couple of times to do a jumping spider XD

You guys do realize, there's a reason why the 2nd stage competitors ALWAYS HAD GLOVES ON for the Chain Reaction...

No, it would make you foolish. All you really need are the things nagano trains with on his boat. A pull-up bar, an oblique angled decending rope, and a metal pole. You can always do the cliff hanger off practically any edge higher than you.

Wearing gloves would make it a lot harder
(I guess that's technically a godo thing, but I'm not strong enough to hold on with slippery gloves)
i need to be able to stick to the chains, so either get better gloves, or get a better grip so slippery gloves won't matter.

I'm wondering the same thing, all the slides I find have several problems, too much friction (I can't find any metal slides anymore), Too short, and no where to hang a rope (assuming I had a rope)
