Just curious to see if faces like Yuuji (current champion) are really favorites among the Sasuke heroes, or if the interest is going to other underdogs like Nagano or Lee. This is all based on who you would like to see challenge the 3rd stage this season. So pick your team and see who other people have been choosing.
(For the Americans, you know that we won't know who is going until we see sasuke 26 so it's a bit pointless)
<-- Yuuji (the animal) Nagano (obvious) & Akiyama (that would be awesome)

Hmm... what do those three have in common? I voted Yuuji since I want to see how the UNCLI can handle the UCH. Kouji because I want to see if he learned anything from his past mistake, and Takeda because I really want him to beat the 3rd stage and if he can get past the UCH it's a cakewalk IMO.

I want Nagano in the 3rd stage more than anything to show the kids how its really done! Yuuji and Matachi be close 2nds/3rd just to see them on the UCH!

Hmm... what do those three have in common? oh, hahaha right. I picked them because it would be an amazing come back for Akiyama, and the other two I believe have the best chance at beating the uch.

I said Nagano, Yamamoto, and "other," which, for me, is Katsumi Yamada.

I chose the three most likely (in my head) to win in general. Nagano, Yuuji, and Hashimoto (because he did better than most on the g-rope in 24. I can see him going all the way someday)

Nagano, Takeda, and Li En Zhi for me. But I believe that Nagano and Yuuji are the ony competitors that could defeat the UCH - although that's a long shot.

I voted Nagano, Akiyama and other (Bunpei Shiratori)
Nagano - His era is over but I do want to see him try these obstacles. Akiyama - I think he would get pretty far in the third stage, I wish he could get there. Shiratori - I want to see him on this third stage.

Hashimoto- He arguablly had the best attempt at the UCH and I hope to see him defeat it. Nagano- I just want to see him crush the thing. It would freak me out if I saw him fall on a Cliff Hanger. Yuuji- The only Cliffer to have made it to the real thing. I expect good things.

I'm not sure if we could really say one did better than the other. They were very close, like barely inches. and I think the space between them was pretty negligible. I would have chosen Li if he had done better on te g-rope two tourneys ago.

I'd love to see all of them there , but if I had to narrow it down to 3 I'd have to pick Nagano, Yamamoto, and Yuuji. Nagano: After his 2 consecutive and tragic failures on Stage 1 in 24 and 25, it would be awesome to see him shine on the course once again. Also, considering that Nagano may be passing his peak soon (if he hasn't already), the next tournament or 2 could be his final chance to get this far or even the Final Stage for all we know. He's got one of the best chances of anyone at the moment to beat the UCH and beyond, and if he's ever going to do so IMO it should occur in 26. Though I'd certainly love to see him perform fantastically for years and years to come on Sasuke (provided it's still around by then, but that's another story...), if he's going downhill from here I'd love to see 1 final great appearance by him (i.e. "going out with a bang") rather than similar to what happened with Yamada (i.e. do very well for the first half of his Sasuke career, but not pass Stage 1 even once in the second half). Yamamoto: Shingo's had a lot of trouble ever since the start of Shin-Sasuke with just passing Stage 1, which is hard to believe for someone like him who'd been to Stage 3 on a regular basis beforehand. He got robbed in 23 (damn shoulder injury ) and was so close to getting back in 25, so it would be awesome to see him back there once again like he rightfully deserves. Although I doubt he could ever clear the UCH (after all IIRC he's the only All-Star who never even passed 9-17's Cliffhanger in competition), it would still be so nice to see him being back there giving it his all in a "true" attempt (i.e. not stopped by injuries like in 23). Sasuke has not been kind to him lately whatsoever, so he's long overdue for a break or 2 (to say the least). Yuuji: As the reigning champion and an UNCLI member, Yuuji (along with Nagano) represents quite possibly the best hope at leading the way in Stage 3 for everyone else. He has very great potential at being the first to clear this new Stage 3, and has yet to fail it. Also, it would definitely be neat to see how well he can handle it. ;D My next 2 closest candidates were Takeda (we've gotta see him in the Final Stage! ) and Jun Sato (he's been denied by Stage 2 in the past 3 tournaments, it would be really nice to see him finally make it there). I wish good luck to all of them in making it that far in 26, but these ones I'd love to see there the most.
