Arsenette direct me I'd like to request one from him! LOL the address has been available for years and still is up today. He has it on his website that's run by Takasui (the company he works for). This is it in English (since customs forms are written in English I asked for an English language equivalent) Mr. Makoto Nagano c/o Takasui K.K. Maguro Honmachi 1-1 Kushikno-shi, Kagoshima-Ken 896-0045 For Kanji.. I just went to the main website www.takasui.co.jp/ and checked the address in Kushikino (the one in Kagoshima since there is another office (the main one) in Nobeoka on the other side of the island in Miyazaki prefecture).

I know you mailed your gifts to him Arsenette, but maybe his email would work in this case (for those having kittens about potentially getting an auto from him)? www.takasui.co.jp/main/sasuke/ouen.htmlJust saw this. Yes that is an option as well. Heck.. he might email you a picture as well though you will have to pick between picture over email or a physical autograph through the mail.

Nah he doesn't understand English. Well, he gets things like hello, thank you, goodbye but...no. If you're planning on writing him, just write in very simple English, he'll Bablefish your message to read it. If you want to be sure, do what I did and use google to translate your message to Japanese, then back to English again so you see what comes out. Make adjustments, translate it again, see what comes out, and go on 'til it's fairly understandable.

I sent my message via his website and he sent back a reply with this picture. He thanked me for the support, said he was gonna do his best and wished me luck for everything. This was right before Sasuke 23.

Man do I wish I could get an autograph or something else along those lines from Nagano or any other Sasuke competitor for that matter (yes, that includes Mr. Octopus ). Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to travel across the entire nation for logical reasons (***expresses highly unrealistic hope that ANW3 will be on the east coast***). Getting back to the main topic of Nagano being in LA for ANW2, this will certainly be interesting, though like some of you said, perhaps with thousands of people that are supposedly going to ANW2 (well, that's what G4's hoping for IIRC) he may be "off-limits" to the crowds of fans. It would be nice if G4 at least specified this more. After all, I'm sure that if they emphasized that anyone could meet him (i.e. not just returning ANC/ANW winners, G4 staff, etc.), they'd probably get even more publicity.

Well for those going to LA, what are you going to make him sign.
I think I actually can go if I make my brother go with me, but when it comes to Nagano, I have no idea what he would sign...

I already got him to sign one of my baseball globe grasps. So I ripped the label off of the sticky spray I bought and thankfully its all white metal and a permanent marker looks good on it. So a can of sticky spray signed by Nagano?? Yea I'll be saving that when its empty lol.

When he signed mine he signed his name in Japanese Kanji, and put "To: Jordan" at the top.
I wouldn't ask him to write you a book or anything.

Did you have to write out "To Jordan" on a piece of paper as well? I know he doesn't know how to write it out if it's not written for him.. all he does is mimic the strokes.. even his own name he's getting better at it but he usually cuts and pastes it when he's texting someone on his phone.. LOL

LOL ah yes, the person who did it for me wrote "To: Jordan" on a piece of paper so he could look off of it. Haha, it was funny. She told me while he was writing it out he was sort of spelling it out like a little kid learning how to write "J.. O.. R.. D.. A.. N.. JORDAN!" something like that

I remember the story of him writing his own name for a bunch of fans back in 2007 and boy was he complaining he had to write his name in English.. Since then he only writes it in Emails since he already has it copied and pasted. Though when he signs now he only does it in Kanji and writes Sasuke in English (and to whoever it is also in English).

yamfriend: you can get his autograph without going to Los Angeles. Perhaps I should rephrase that to make it more specific: I'd like to get him to autograph something of mine in person if I ever get to meet him. That's way more meaningful than getting it from somewhere else IMO. Now all I've got to figure out is what to have him sign for me... EDIT: Hmmm, Yuuji and Okuyama are coming too? Cool! And not saying that it's a problem or anything, but why are they sending 2 grand champions and then Okuyama, who's not a champion? Trust me, I really like Okuyama as a competitor, but it puzzles me how he's put into there.

As much as I like and respect Okuyama (the man's 40 and is consistent on the course), he seems out of place a bit. It's like G4 is doing this as "2 GRAND CHAMPIONS.....and this guy". Makes me wonder if they attempted to contact Akiyama. But I'm happy he's able to go and ECSTATIC that Yuuji's going.
