Don't have a screen recorder, I would play it again if I did. And nope, no save states. An option would be a screenshot of the save game with all the boss profiles filled in.

No, most multi games are meant for 360, or just meant to be compatible with both. I'm not aware of any that were meant for the PS3 and were later transfered to the 360. There IS however, Devil May Cry 4, which was originally planned for the PS3, but then it was announced it'd be multiplatform and they had a release date on the same day for both consoles, so it doens't really count as it wasn't intended only for PS3. That is what I mean. I'm sure there have to be other games originally made for PS3 and are multiconsole by the time they come out.

Yeah, but that doens't mean anything.
FF13 would be the best example.
It was made for the PS3.
It won't work well on a 360, and it should be better on the PS3 despite beign multiplatform.
Either way, we'll find out when the game comes because I'll be able to play it on both systems.

Well it would be pretty funny if the 360 one turns out better XD. Anyways, Is Crysis worth it? now that I'm on a new PC that can run it.

Does anyone know how long it would take before a new generation in video games start?

The Playstation 2/XBOX/Gamecube era started in 2000 when the PS2 was released. The XBOX and GC came in 2001 and 2002. The XBOX lasted until about 2006 before the 360 became the main focus. The Wii and PS3 were launched that year as well, although the PS2 is still selling pretty well, all things considered.
So as a rough guestimate, the new generation (Playstation 4, XBOX 720, Nintendo Yuu) will probably show up around 2011/2012/2013. Somewhere in that neighborhood.

Sony hopes PS4 for around 2011 or 2012, the same years are also when Nintendo hopes for the WiiHD to come out. No word on new Microsoft console although they are hoping for a new Halo to be released on it when it comes out (Not like all these new spinoffs, like Halo 4 I mean).
And I tried the demo of Crysis, the game is pretty damn bad, I just wanted to test my hardware and I'm glad I didn't buy the game because its pretty mediocre, Turok for 360 was better than this demo, at least Turok was an OK game.

I thought that the sixth generation started when the Dreamcast was released in 1999.

Is it really good to base a generation off a console that didn't survive the generation? If I remember correctly the generation dying order was Dreamcast didn't survive long, Xbox when the 360 came out, Gamecube until a bit before the Wii, PS2 has yet to die though but its clear it died last as the others are already gone.

Well the reason I said Dreamcast was that I thought it was designed to surpass a fifth generation console (Saturn) and due to the fact that it was released before the competition with Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo.

I don't think it counts as the start of a generation until all the consoles are out though.

So technically the sixth generation started with the release of the Ps2?

Dreamcast and PS2 were the only 6th generation consoles? I guess I was imagining those other two.

Thats probably something most people wouldn't brag about. The first console I had was the Sega Genesis, Loved playing Sonic, then they released Sonic 3D, I liked it back then but then didn't get any Sonic games after that, And I replayed it a while back, Glad I never got any Sonic since. And I've been playing some old classics with the help of emulators (So now I can say I've played classics like Super Mario Brothers even though I never had a NES)

Oh btw.. Hubby STILL has all of his gaming systems. The first he owned was the 2600 and he has everything up until the 360. The only one we do not have is the PS3. Haven't found a game we like on it to justify the price. Like everything else .. they'll release something I like and we get the system. Every once in a while I crack out the old systems like the Turbo Grafics or Dreamcast and play those games. Fun stuff even now.

I'll be pretty impressed if you have complete libraries of the systems (excluding the ones still going on because they're still going on). And so what, being a geek is a good thing!
EDIT: Although something that bugs me about all those Guitar Hero World Tour commercials (Besides the sucky music), The fact in all the versions, none of them actually are trying to actually play the damn game! and the rare time they are, there are notes going on screen after they stop and it shows the notes being hit.
