In your opinion, what were some of the most shocking failures ever in the history of Sasuke up until now? One that I would say as one of the most shocking IMO was Nagano's Metal Spin failure in Sasuke 15 because: 1) he (nor anybody else for that matter) had ever failed it 2) all 6 people before him had passed Stage 2 and he was the last one to go 3) he had never failed Stage 2 in any of his 5 previous attempts on it 4) he was becoming the most likely competitor to beat the course at the time after doing extremely well in his past few tournaments (attempted Final Stage in 11, 12, and 13; made it deep into or beat Stage 3 in 5 out of the 6 past tournaments) 5) he's an All-Star! Although I'd consider most of the big shockers coming from the All-Stars, I'm curious as to any other ones that you all have in mind.

Shingo path fail. Not necessarily that he failed on stage 1... but the fact that he lost on something that wasn't even an obstacle.

Nagano 24. What the hell. Then Shingo 22, Bunpei 18 (is it 18 when he slipped on the Spider Walk?), Nagano 19.

Nagano in 19. While the tournament had unprecedented failure before his run, you still had a feeling that if anyone could clear it would be him. Plus, the 8 straight clears helped that image. 19 showed that Nagano was just human.

Nagano 24,
haven't we had this topic 2 or 3 times already though?

Yamada in 6. Give that poor guy a chance. Yamada Koji in 13. Did anyone expect him to fail so early after making to stg 3 in 12?

Yamada in 14.
He came out of retirement and was expected to clear.
He failed the Jump Hang, which was child's play in Sasuke 14.
Shocking

Monkiki's rolling log fail in Sasuke 4. He had made it to the final stage in the first three tournaments, so seeing him fail so early was definately a shocker.

Can't believe no one has said takeda in 22. For me that is the most shocking.
Nagano 24 would of beaten it if wasn't for the Yuuji scream in navi spoiling it. After it wasn't for kanno it was obvious Nagano was going to fail.

But probably the most shocking fail is Koji Yamada in SASUKE 17 because he never failed the Metal Spin

Didn't Akiyama fail the 1st obstacle of stage 1 once? An allstar failing ostacle 1 = shocking.

Akiyama in Sasuke 9 was definitely the most shocking for me. But that makes his Stage 1 clear in Sasuke 11 all that more redeeming.

That's really interesting mjyr1, I've never thought about Sasuke 12 but yes it was very shocking!. Even if it was a final stage, it's still a fail so you're pretty darn right. At this point I'd say Nagano's final in 23 was kinda shocking as well. I was almost sure he would have won.
