I'm worried about Takeda and his chances with the Ultimate Cliff Hanger.
He does not seem to be able to hold onto the Cliff Hanger for long periods of time going up and down.
This is shown when he failed the third version of the Cliff Hanger several times.
However, on the Shin Cliff Hanger, he had no problems because he was on the Cliff Hanger less and the gap from the first ledge to the second ledge was shorter.
The UCH has twice as many ledges and a huge gap to the third ledge and two other large gaps.
I don't think he can complete this obstacle. Well, I'm doubtful.
Opinions?

I see him failing it many times but he could probably clear it eventually

I dont think he will beat it on his first try. I can see the floating boards KILLING his strength. But if he does practice A LOT then he might. Like BLM said he will beat it eventually.

Personally I do not think he has anywhere near enough endurance to make it past this obstacle, not to mention the previous obstacles/stages that will tire him. Im afraid its looking like his endurance will only go down from here unless he totally goes asinine with a new workout program.

He barely managed three ledges when he was much younger. Now he's older and the gaps and ledges have increased.

I don't think he will ever clear it.
He's still a legend though. I don't think he will really care about not being able to pass it.

I dont give him much hope on this one, endurance has always been his weak link and this is not helping.

I think he will be able to do it. Maybe not on his first try, but I think he will on his second try. All of you are underestimating him. He is a really strong guy and I do believe he will do it.

Just how many tries is he going to get at this? He's not getting any younger you know,

I'm sad to say this, but I doubt that Takeda's ever going to defeat the UCH, let alone the Third Stage. Like so many of you have said before, he's getting older and older and he's already had trouble with endurance in the past. Plus, after seeing him fail on Cliff Hanger v3 3 times, it's looking very slim for him to ever get deep into Stage 3 ever again.

Remember, he was the first to clear the shin-cliff hanger

I think if he practiced it like he did with the Shin-Cliff Hanger, he might have a chance.

Takeda will never clear this cliff hanger unless he works on endurance. The floating boards will just kill his strength.
TBH I never would have thought that Takeda would pass the shin cliff hanger, but he did. He will make the new cliff hanger eventually. Probably in 27, 28ish.

If Okuyama clears it, Takeda really has no excuse

I think he could clear it eventually. He seems to have really strong legs though, so I can't imagine the Floating Boards would give him a ton of problems. He was always bad at the 3rd version of the Cliffhanger when his right arm was lower than his left arm, so I imagine the right to left part of the Ultimate Cliffhanger would be very difficult for him. And like everybody's said, he really needs to work on his endurance if he hopes to pass this obstacle anytime soon. But, I think with the right training he could pass it.

I think if he practiced it like he did with the Shin-Cliff Hanger, he might have a chance. With the SCH you can just practice it, get the technique down, and master it. Thats why 13 of the last 14 who tried it passed it like it wasn't even there. That can't be said for the UCH, I just dont see any style or technique where you can say "If I do it like this way, I will pass it each time" So just saying he can practice it isn't really going to work this time.

If Okuyama clears it, Takeda really has no excuse Don't look down on Okuyama. He's older than Takeda and he's made the final stage. He's kicked arse the last 4 Sasuke's. He's the only competitor to make it to the third stage 3 times in a row in Shin Sasuke.

I agree, Okuyama's track record speaks for itsself. At this point I think he's about 1 level above Takeda.
Okuyama is one of the few I could see having a chance
