What do you think would happen if someone achieved kanzenseiha in Sasuke 25 I don't expect this to happen, but...

I'd be concerned about Sasuke's future because it might show that it's no longer "the toughest obstacle course in the world", which could lead to its cancellation.

I agree with yamfriend. But unfortunately I think there will be a winner around 28 cause there are a lot of new guys.

Ya I too would be worried about if this show were to get canceled if that happens. I think the level of talent on the show now is so high that they will have to change it up even more often than usual or there will be a winner very soon again like yodauo said.

I'd be concerned after I'd wake up from falling into a coma laughing.
Though I'd think I would be one of the few who won't call for Higuchi's head if someone wins. Because what we think will TOTALLY dictate how the course should be (not saying everyone does think that, just when we as a whole generally get too emotional in the discussions)

I'd send them an Email asking them to hire me as their course designer...

Everyone would fail the first stage in 26. Although the talent pool is so high, it does not take much for the switch to go from 10+ clears to 0-3. And all Higuchi has to do is tweak a few existing obstacles for that to happen. Higuchi and his producers choose how far they want someone to go. If they wanted to, Shin-SASUKE or any other era could last forever, as they will always be one step ahead of the competitors. (although, that could turn into an entirely different conversation). However, I think that they want people to do well for 25, but not great. Something like 5 or 20's results I think would be ideal for them.

He is correct. They control the results for the most part. I should know

There is a larger group of guys that can beat any stage now, and unless the new course is impossible, they will continue to do well. It may take a couple of competitions to figure out the new, challenging obstacles, but the Big 10" as I have named them always will always be there. Nagano, Takeda, Yuuji, Kanno, Hashimoto, Lee ,Okuyama, Kenji, Tajima (right?) and Levi all have a shot at doing well because these guys all train extremely hard just for this competition. Add a couple of new names to this list and you have 10-12 guys that could pass stages 1 and 2...and beyond. IMO

And think of how many more qualifiers there are that are up to that level. Maybe they should make the course nearly impossible but have no comedians in it. Just strong guys. The weakest being Jun Sato or something.

Seriously, though, they should at least have a few comedians and stuff from past tournaments. Although they have virtually no chance of clearing more than a few obstacles, they're still a very important and interesting part of the show IMO.

They won't make the course impossible, nor will they get rid of comedians, both for ratings.

Comedians that dont give a crap about sasuke compete. When they are taking up a spot of somebody that trains for sasuke every day.

LOL Comedians should stay just to be fodder to show how intense the course can really be.

Comedians that dont give a crap about sasuke compete. When they are taking up a spot of somebody that trains for sasuke every day. Comedians have an important relationship with Sasuke.. It's a symbiotic thing. People watch to see those Comedians and they get caught up, become fans, and ratings increase. Comedians compete in a show that will be watched and get their name out there getting pretty much free publicity. Both parties benefit from it. So they aren't going anywhere.. And if there was a tournament with ALL good competitors, The forums would never shut up about it.. I mean we still hear complaints about 5 people in the final in 24.. Imagine the complaints we'd get with even better results..
