Can't see a victory so soon, but it will depend on the course. History shows that it will take a few competitions before someone gets to the final, nevermind beat the final stage.

I think last time (18-24) the final stage was too easy for a final stage.

I might be able to do it. Maybe not on my first try though. Just saying that it was the easiest final stage yet IMO.

Cmon, easier than the Final Stage that Akiyama beat in 24 seconds on his first try? Regardless of mine or your opinion on last final stage's difficulty, THIS final stage I think will be a lot tougher. Hardest yet, hmm...we'll see

IMO, the whole "3rd Final Stage is easy" claim is really one of those grasping at straws complaints here that we've gotten a lot of lately.

With those rumors about there was a different final stage from 18-21 (and with that metal ladder pic Lee took) wouldn't people be complaining about the 4th final stage and the 3rd was never seen or attempted? Now I'm just nitpicking though.. But the fact of the matter it was failed in the only attempt in 22, Failed in both attempt in 23, and 4 out of 5 failed in 24. So 7 fails in 8 attempts means something, if it was so easy wouldn't we have had Yuuji win in 22, 2 Kanzenseiha in 23 and 5 Kanzenseiha in 24?

Just because there was a time increase (which goes with the slight increase of height in the stage) and the first climbing obstacle was a ladder, doesn't mean it wasn't hard.

If anything the real challenge was BECAUSE it was a ladder, I mean look at the forums, people underestimate it because it IS easy, but it being so easy means people won't take it seriously which is why it WAS failed. I mean look at some of the runs (Hashimoto in particular) and you can tell they weren't taking the fact it was a ladder seriously. So if you're going to complain just think about you're doing exactly what TBS wants you to do to fail the final stage

To add to what Rider said I think if you look at the fact of how nobody took the ladder seriously, then you'll see they obviously didn't have the right idea on how to tackle that obstacle. The key with the ladder is a steady progress to get to the top and not trying to fly up it or you will mess up. Same with that 3 story tall net climb on ANW's 2nd stage, the people who scurried to the top took forever, but the guys who took their time and payed attention to what they did could get up it fast and conserve energy as well. So I actually liked the ladder for that reason, it took brains and strategy to beat, not just ability. It taught a few people a lesson for sure that they will not forget: Do not underestimate any obstacle(Especially if its part of the final stage ).

I agree with all of this. Final Stage v.1: 1/12 cleared Final Stage v.2: 1/10 cleared Final Stage v.3: 1/8 cleared These rates are almost the same. And when you consider that a lot of Sasuke 1-4 final stage competitors had truly NO chance at victory, the rates almost even out.

If this pattern continues then the 6th person to reach the final stage will win. 1/6
