I especially like the first and last ones. Just need something that would keep the cylinder from sliding down since it's uphill. Maybe each side could have a gear or something with teeth like this And I'd like to see a longer falling ring with more drops. That'd be pretty fun to try.

This picture is a little misleading. the parts that you hold on to are closer than that, specifically close enough to keep your arms in a straight position. Nevertheless, it's still pretty difficult, as I've tried similar things to it---and with gaps.

So you mean like parallel bars? That's not hard at all.

(1) Conveyor Bars - monkey bars that move backward (3) Rock Junction - like a rock wall but the rocks are hanging from the "ceiling"

I agree with bada about having a stage 3 similar to 14/15. I would like to see all new obstacles, but if they do bring back some of them, the Body Prop and Rumbling Dice or some version of them should be there. IF shin-SASUKE had those 2 obstacles at the beginning of stage 3, you would have had a totally different outcome IMO.

Since they talked about their Perfect Renewal, I thought it'd be cool to see a small layout change in Stage 3, something like this You'd have an obstacle that goes right into the new cliffhanger with no breaks. Or you could have obstacle+obstacle+cliffhanger. I just want to see more obstacle chains, that's all.

Maybe they should make the whole third stage without mats. lol.. Or have like one in the middle.

They got to make stage three, hard as hell and even maybe impossible for the first couple of tournaments, they should bring back the body prop and pipe slider, with new obstacles for stage three that saps the strength, it should be more strength over technique.

They aren't going to bring back old obstacles, they should know by now that doesn't work (see X-Bridge, Globe Grasp, Arm Bike)

They aren't going to bring back old obstacles, they should know by now that doesn't work (see X-Bridge, Globe Grasp, Arm Bike) To be fair about the Arm Bike, I doubt even in the beginning it was put in as a failable obstacle, just to drain your stamina. IMO, it would work like in 18, as a transition obstacle. But instead of before the second half it would be a transition from the second-to-last into the last obstacle.

Im just saying that bringing back old obstacle is usually a failure. There wont be any element of surprise, and most of the time the older obstalces are easier and people are use to doing something harder.
Even something that use to be hard like the Body Prop, do you really see someone like Okuyama or Kongu or even Levi with less upper body strength having any trouble with that?

Even something that use to be hard like the Body Prop, do you really see someone like Okuyama or Kongu or even Levi with less upper body strength having any trouble with that? Well there's always the possibility of someone (even one of the best competitors) slipping on something like the Body Prop. One error on it and you're done. Just look at Bunpei in 17, for example. I don't think any of us expected that to happen. My point is simply that familiar obstacles can cause some people to fail if they lose their concentration for a second. It's occurred so many times that I could go on for a while listing examples. At the same time, many other/simpler/modified obstables that have been brought back will do the opposite: eliminate virtually nobody. Like you said earlier, things such as the X-Bridge, Globe Grasp, and Arm Bike won't do much in the sense of eliminating competitors, but instead drain their stamina.

I can see Levi failing it. Bunepi and Shingo have both failed it, aswell as many of other strong competitors, so I could easily see Levi failing it.
