but your hanging onto the little holes in the bridge, and the gap is gliding ring esque, no momentum really. (Sorry if that doesnt make since) What if you fingers get stuck That would be the end of Sasuke and that competitors finger.

I'm very wary of a "complete" redesign of Stage 3. Sasuke 18 had such a redesign and it was quite possibly the worst Stage 3 ever.
I'd rather see a repeat of a good obstacle (a.k.a. the Devil Steps) than a terrible new obstacle (Curtain Swing).
If it were up to me, I keep 4 of the current obstacles and replace the other 4 with really hard and well thought out obstacles. Then, when there was more time to think and plan, I'd add in more new obstacles.

I'm sure there will be some form of Cliffhanger, I'm thinking they may modify it to be similar to that one UNCLI guys where it had a swinging rail? (muscle musical had something similar where the landing platform was hanging from ropes).
Other that that I'd guess they'd replace most of it, if not all...the Cliffhanger and Acending Climb where the only challenging obstacles in my opinion.
One thing I'm somewhat expecting is some kind of dismount obstacle where the tendency is to slide back as you try to jump forward (like the old Pipe Slider, or the Muscle Park Arm Rings).
I'd also like to see some kind of Body Prop come back, but who knows? Maybe a Gliding Ring minus the stopper so the ring slides back as you try to build momentum?

I'd also like to see some kind of Body Prop come back, but who knows? Yeah, the Gliding Ring was a joke.. And the Body Prop was a good obstacle Maybe a Gliding Ring minus the stopper so the ring slides back as you try to build momentum? I didn't notice until the G4 broadcast of 22 (Just because of screen size watching it on a 40 inch screen, if anything the download we have here is higher quality than G4's footage XD), But Yuuji wasn't even in the notch for his first swing or two and it didn't slide back (despite Kanno and Yuuji in 23 and 24, but they didn't swing right away like Yuuji in 22) but your hanging onto the little holes in the bridge, and the gap is gliding ring esque, no momentum really. (Sorry if that doesnt make since) What if you fingers get stuck Or maybe Lfrt should make it like I what I do on what the picture was of. At the end transfer to a bar and swing from that

I would guess only the Arm Rings would remain in Stage 3 unmodified.
They are a natural progression / combination of the Pipe Slider and GlidingGrinding Ring, and without an air conditioner over head or "if you arms extend, you're out"-esque rules, they could be a very good final obstacle of Stage 3.

I was thinking about the changes they could make for stage 3 and thought of something i havent really heard anyone come up with, now this is a change that would change Sasuke a little bit because its been general knowledge for a long time so not many would see it coming, but does anyone think its possible for them to put a time limit on stage 3 as well? That would be the easiest way to make it far harder and thats without even making the course much harder itself. I know there will be a major overhaul but imagine how bad it would suck if they made speed a big factor in stage 3.

I may be mistaken but i believe there is already a "time-limit" rule in the 3rd stage, well at least in theory. Most of the obstacles in the 3rd stage are so taxing that most of the competitors probably do not want to take too long doing them. I recalled many people talk about a 30-second time limit for resting in between obstacles. I have also often heard a shout in the broadcast when the contestants reached the 30-second limit ( heard it several times ), informing them the 30-second break is up. However, so far i do not know of anyone being stopped for breaking the rule, which i believed has happened before.

Well if thats true thats something but i mean a real time limit, that time limit would only limit resting time, which mostly sounds like its to keep the competitors run from taking so long it holds up anyone going afterwords, and to keep it from getting totally boring and drawn out. But a real time limit like the other courses would not only make them not take a break between the obstacles, but do the obstacles themselves faster, which is where the real difficulty would come in. There may be that resting time limit now, but i highly doubt anybody will shout out at you while your on an obstacle to move faster as long as your making some progress.

I'll be surprised if the arm rings stay. No one has really ever failed it (except for Daisuke and Shingo but that was because of injury purposes) so I think they should put something more difficult in there.

Arm Rings are long overdue to be gone. But with the Rumbling Dice gone too, what do you guys think would be a good starter for Stage 3?

Arm Rings+Rumbling Dice fusion? If it has to be done like that at least make it Rumbling Dice+Arm Rings so you're actually drained before the rings..

I'm hoping atleast 1 person makes stage 3 so I can see it... I've been wanting a killer third stage for awhile now. I honestly can't wait to see what they've done to it.
Hopefully it'll be atleast on par with Sasuke 14/15, or even better a harder one.
I like draining obstacles at the begginning, and technique obstacles towards the end. Makes for the best combination. At the end you're too worn out to worry about technique and you rush. That's why the pipe slider was such a good obstacle. On it's own it was hard because of the technique, but since it's the last obstacle and the old stage 3 was more taxing, it was brutal.

I say change the whole darn course, especially stage 3 which the top competitors have figured out how to beat. The question is...will it be a challenge or impossible?

I hope only the bets of the best can past. Like I want to see Yuuji actually struggle through it.
In sasuke 24, Tajima wasn't even winded by the end of stage 3. I want it to be insane.
And especially the final stage, it should be without a doubt the hardest final stage to date.
Stage 1 doesn't need to be TOO much harder, but 2 should get an upgrade aswell.
