By stage 3 obstacles staying I mean the EXACT same obstacles staying without any modifications.
I somehow doubt that anything will stay in Stage 3 since most people cleared everything with no problem in 24, except for Takeda of course.
What they should do though is bring back the original Ascending climb in my opinion, cause that would make the climbing obstacle much tougher.
What do you guys think?

Just a small hunch tells me the jumping bars will don't know why just think they will maybe as many as in 14 again or just as they were in 24.
The CH will be there but made harder so doesn't count.
Everything else will prob be entirly new!

I think they'll keep the Jumping Bars and the Spider Flip. They might put a new kind of Ascending Climb (an ascending Globe Grasp would be good).
The Arm Rings have survived for this long so I wouldn't be surprised if they keep them in.
I'm most excited about the final third stage obstacle. What big leap will they come up with?

I think that only the spider flip has a chance of staying after the renewal. devil steps and hang climbing have grown old and easy (not saying I could do them) arm rings and jumping bars have both lasted WAY too long (why do so many people thing the jumping bars will remain anyway). Gliding ring will go for the same reason as the pipe slider someone did win . Cliff hanger WILL be back but will be different. Rope junction would of gone even if no one won. Spider flip IMO will stay but may be modified so the 2nd boardis higher up than the firs so you have to jump up.

They might put a new kind of Ascending Climb (an ascending Globe Grasp would be good). I've never thought about the Globe Grasp, but that sounds like a great idea. (As long as no legs can be used, of course) I'm most excited about the final third stage obstacle. What big leap will they come up with? Grinding Ring. Or, in the "seriously unrealistic" category, Salmon Ladder -> Stick Slider -> Final Leap.

That actually sounds plausible. How about a Salmon Ladder as a sort of a draining thing (I like sheep's "Salmon Mountain" idea where it's a Salmon Ladder but all the notches are motorized to move down) then leads straight into a pipe slider with a drop or two (Like ANW but not with such a short bar and not THAT long) and then a normal Pipe Slider jump at the end. Although I think the challenge of the Salmon Ladder is having it on a timed course (despite the fact most people get it up quickly)
Another good idea would be Cliffhanger (either V3 or Shin, I think the third one would work better for this) + Jumping Bars. At the end of the cliffhanger with no rest reach directly into the jumping bars. I can't decide on Climbing Bars or Hang Climbing but there would be no Spider Flip but a break zone platform there.

Arm Rings=might stay (after all, it's stayed since it was introduced, and that was BEFORE Shin-Sasuke)
Downward Lamp Grasper/Rope Junction=gone (neither ever eliminated a competitor)
Devil Steps=gone (only eliminated 1 person; needs to be replaced by something harder such as my "Hand Bridge" obstacle ;D )
Shin-Cliff Hanger="gone" (going to be modified, a.k.a. Cliff Hanger version 5.0)
Jumping Bars=might stay (same reasons as the Arm Rings, though it may be modified IMO)
Hang Climbing=gone (either modified, replaced by the Sending Climber, or just removed in favor of a completely different obstacle)
Spider Flip=might go, might stay (rest area before and after it is unnecessary, but has eliminated a decent amount of competitors)
Gliding Ring=gone (way too easy compared to something like the Pipe Slider)

I think the Spider Flip and Cliff Hanger are the only obstacles that are gonna stay and be modified. The rest, all new.
For the Spider Flip, maybe they might actually put the full "Heartbreaker" obstacle from Viking.

I actually like the idea of having all new obstacles on the course because everyone is starting from scratch again and on a level playing field. We'll really see which competitors are the real deal as well.

If they added the salmon ladder straight after the cliffhanger i think that would be insane. As in there's no break; you go straight into it. Or something like that.

I'd make the gliding ring become for real this time the grinding ring but call it the final ring as its more apt here, you ave to work it over humps and bumps in the track then work it up over the humps upwards at the end then move it to the end and then make your swing and jump. Trying to move the ring about over this would be a killer especially after being sapped by the other 7 obstacles. Excuse my paint drawing but thats the basic idea of it lol !!! I'd make that the last obstacle but then again im sick in the head so ....lol

Spider flip will stay.
I think the 3d stage will be without mats at all this time. Or there will be mats but one can only rest on the mats once. He chooses when he wants a break.

LAST OBSTACLE - I would make it some kind of 45 degree pipe slider/salmon ladder. Then a HUGE jump to the finish at the end.

I know this isnt a obstacle creation thread of sorts but I'll do a outline of what I think will stay and go, and what I'd like to see.... Obstacle -- Opinion -- Verdict Arm Rings -- If they keep these then there asking for it -- No Rope Junction -- One of the worst stage 3 obstacles ever -- No Devil Steps -- Solid Obstacle overall, but it has overdone its stay -- No Shin Cliff Hanger -- A obstacle that turned into technique, great obstacle, lets hope the producers combine strength and technique in the next version -- Modified Jumping Bars -- I personally think this will either be modified or completely new, like the Devil Steps, it has overstayed its welcome -- Modified/No Ascending Climb -- Something new will be here, can't see them using this anymore it just wouldn't fit without normal jumping bars -- No Spider Flip -- I like some of the ideas people are throwing out about adding another step, but I can't see the obstacle remaining in tack, but maybe modified -- Modified/No Gliding Ring -- Obviously after 21, it was clear this wasn't a difficult obstacle -- Bye-Bye Yes folks, I believe Stage 3 will be completely new, if it's not, then I personally will believe the producers are on crack, there's way to much here that could be tweaked. Something can replace every obstacle to make it harder, that being said here's what I'd like to see.... 1. Rumbling Thrice -- Sheep Obstacle 2. Ascending Body Prop -- Cuz that was a great obstacle, modify it 3. Peg Path -- Sheep Obstacle 4. Ascending Curtain Grasp -- Think Globe Grasp but with tiny curtains instead, and going upward 5. Ace Cliff Hanger -- The one in sheeps Sasuke Ace 6. Whatever -- really dont care as long as its better than the Jumping Bars... 7. Curtain Climb -- Sheep Obstacle 8. Shin Spider Flip -- Th idea all of you are posting 9. Underside of Death -- Had this obstacle idea for a while...5 meters of this www.majhost.com/gallery/manaleader/AvatarTwenty/hangingplaygroundbridge.jpg but your hanging onto the little holes in the bridge, and the gap is gliding ring esque, no momentum really. (Sorry if that doesnt make since)

I loved the body prop and rumbling dice but I hope if everything is being renwed then everything is NEW as in totally new not just recycling classics again. Cliff hanger to me is the only obstacle guranteed to stay albeit in a harder form. I stilll like my final ring idea

I hope it rivals Sasuke 14-15's stage three.
I loved the old stage threes where people would be strained even on the second obstacle, and getting to the end was hard and completely unexpected. plus I love the old stage 3. You'd be dead tired by the time you got to the last obstacle, but then it'd turn into a technique based obstacle, the Pipe Slider.
Since you're so tired you want to hurry, but hurrying spells doom for you there. It frustrated many people. I think that's perfect. Start it out with hard strength like obstacles, and put more technique ones towards the end. Since you're tired having the right technique will become difficult.
