but since Salmon Ladder was still there in 24 I assume it wouldn't be that much of a safety problem for them.

Has anyone ever taken the Salmon Ladder bar with them on the second stage when they've fallen? Or has it always managed to stay on?

Not to be nit-picky or anything, but isn't the title of this thread sort of... spoilers?
If anyone hasn't seen 24, then they could see the title of this topic without even having to go into the Sasuke 25 forum (Via on the side where it says "Blah blah blah was the last to post in the thread blah blah blah)
It sort of implies there is a new final stage. Just saying.

Just saying. There would be no excuses for "accidentally" getting spoiled. If you didn't see 24 there's no reason for going into a board that says "Sasuke 25". And judging by the title, they can put two and two together what happens, in that case this entire thread has to go away, which we aren't about to do since a good number have seen 24. Plus if they are trying to stay away from 24 and they see a 25 on the front page, why go further than closing the tab and moving on? In other words, I'm saying the show has aired, you can't cry foul if you haven't seen it and we're talking about a new tourney. It's like calling someone out for talking about Transformers 2 when they themselves haven't seen Transformers 1 yet (before Transformers 2 was released but was confirmed).

Obviously you misundrstood my post G4. What I was saying is you don't even have to enter the Sasuke 25 boards if there are spoilers in the title. Look at the screencap below to see what I mean. img696.imageshack.us/img696/9153/newfinalstagespec.pngSomeone could just come onto these boards not having seen Sasuke 24, not enter either the Sasuke 24 or 25 boards, and be spoiled. How is that fair? To solve the problem simply change the title name to "final stage". Also, I'm not sure how you mis-interpreted me in the first place. It looks like you didn't even bother reading or trying to understand my post. Not to be nit-picky or anything, but isn't the title of this thread sort of... spoilers? If anyone hasn't seen 24, then they could see the title of this topic without even having to go into the Sasuke 25 forum (Via on the side where it says "Blah blah blah was the last to post in the thread blah blah blah) It sort of implies there is a new final stage. Just saying. 1. I flat out said the TITLE was spoilers, not the contents of the thread itself. 2. I explain you don't even have to come into the Sasuke 25 boards to see the title of this thread. Thus in conclusion you could be spoiled that there is a kanzenseiha in 24 just by going to the website www.sasukemaniac.com without going into any boards or topics. Also, there is a rule on this forum for spoilers that states you cannot have spoilers in the title of a thread. Now it doesn't flat out say "The final stage was, beat let's talk about what they might do for the new final stage!" But it does say "New final stage" meaning they changed it. Why else would they change it? Someone beat it. It's not hard to draw that conclusion. Thus the title of this thread are spoilers, thus the title should be changed. Same for the other topic "New first stage" but not so much because unlike the final stage the first stage is changed all the time.

I haven't even seen 24 myself yet, but like 3 people on my facebook and one person I'm friends with on myspace have already spoiled it for me. What's worse is that all of those people are from this forum and the spoilers started the morning of the first, right after it aired.
Just a future tip, saying things like "This was a very significant tournament, with implications for your training" and "Just watched Sasuke 24, complete course redesign for 25!" on facebook, or posting a video on youtube titled "Yugi, 3rd Sasuke winner" are all spoliers.
So yeah, maybe the title of this thread should be changed.....but then again I find it hard to believe that there is anyone in these forums that hasn't either seen it or been spolied already.

I understood what you said, I was simply stating if you were dodging 24 why wouldn't you expect something for 25 to pop up somewhere (in this case it has its own board). And even if it seemed I didn't understand in my post, I DID say the even aired already, thus we should be able to discuss without situations like this, because if it was significant enough, someone other than you would've spoken about it. It's like we can't even have hypothetical situations anymore......which if you understood my post you would realize that was the standpoint I was taking. Of course you can look at the title without clicking, which will in turn possibly entice you to click on it......all of which you can dodge by not coming here and learning to be self-sufficient by PM'ing a mod/admin and ask where they can watch it. Again, the last part of what I said was hypothetical and I'm not trying to generalize, that self-sufficient part was for those who come in here and simply go "GIMME" without trying to improve the process. Pretty much. Every tournament you'll get topics like these (with titles like these)......nothing's gonna change that.

You still don't seem to understand. Either way it's in the rules, no spoilers in thread titles. I'm just asking the title be changed to "final stage" to prevent anyone from being spoiled.
The chances of someone being spoiled are small I understand that (which is why in my post I said I was nitpicking) but regardless it'll take like 10 seconds to change and there's no harm in not changing it.
@david: Sorry the tourney got spoiled for you, but TBS flat out said someone would win before the tournament even aired, so it was actually spoiled for us before we even saw the dang thing.
It's more of TBS's fault than anything, but yeah it does suck people would put that on their facebook status's, which is why I refrained from updating mine.

To prevent this topic from being derailed further, and to acknowledge that Bada actually does have a point, I'm changing the topic title. Alright?

So I was looking at this picture, and it kinda looks like a spider climb, followed by 3 ropes? I'd like to see the spider climb come back for sure!

David they used the same footage at the end of SASUKE 17 of this tower and the general thought was that they wanted to do this one for 18 onward but couldn't manage it. But maybe now they are having a rethink and could possibly get this version set up for 25 onward.
Spider climb - 3 rope transfer would be epic to see it.

I know they tested 3 and even 2 ropes and had all kinds of problems (not 100% sure of exact details on what kind of problems) but it is possible they might have worked something around that.

I hope they design it so that the rope can be cut at the end.
It's hard to say what they'll make the final stage. Then again, there's only so many ways to make a vertical climb.

I intentionally used that for the video name, not to spoil the forum members, but to drag others into the show. I named it blahblah.. 3rd Total Victory. I would've used Kanzenseiha if the video was aimed for the forum members, as we all know that it is the 'correct' term to use. Heck, I even used the name 'Ninja Warrior' Now imagine this. Person who heard about Ninja Warrior looks up a video of a person who completes the course, and all you're going to find is Nagano from 17. My intention was to create a similar video that presents Yuuji this time around. So yes. Spoilers exist. But some are done mistakenly, while others are done on purpose to drag others into the show.

Whatever the intentions, when I log into my youtube account the day after Sasuke airs in Japan, and someone has posted the results of the tournament in a video title, that's a lack of discression. I'm not mad or anything, I'm just saying next time just post "Yugi's Sasuke 24 run" or whatever. If you want to post "3rd Total Victory" post it in the keywords. And actually you're even spoiling it for someone watching it on you tube....why even bother watching the you tube video that you posted, when the title tells you what happens? If you know he wins, every time he comes to an obstacle you know he's going to clear it, so where's the fun in watching it? I haven't even watched Sasuke 24 yet because I'm not excited about it, I already know what happens. It's cool that you're posting videos and all, but a little discression in the video titles would be good. You should probably change the title of that video actually, so you don't spoil it for any more people that are waiting for the G4 brodcast. Or even for people that want to watch it on youtube, but don't want to know how it ends before watching the video.

I know they tested 3 and even 2 ropes and had all kinds of problems (not 100% sure of exact details on what kind of problems) but it is possible they might have worked something around that. The obvious one - the tower was not high enough to accomodate it without the ropes being stupidly short, or they just didnt have the time or funds or something to build a even bigger one. No one knows but I just reckon they realised they could not do it properly without alot more time and preperation hence the ladder(steel/wood&rope) and rope climb final is the one we got. 2 ropes was no good either as neither was long enough to make anything good so had to just be one on that tower structure ( the 23m one) So far as I saw it they wanted to do the rope transfer spider final but in the end went with a ladder and rope now some more time has passed and a win has happened they can now go back to something they had been planning and thinking about all along for the future. And bring that GIANT final stage from the concept board to the real world!

Anyone have any ideas on how to make the rope transfers safe?
I'm not saying that we should speculate what it is going to be, but I just want to see some ideas that might work.
P.S. I'll take down the f***ing video if you want me to.

Maybe they HAD figured out the rope transfer thing and they put the Rope Junction in as not only trying to set it up for Kanzenseiha so they can finally end Shin Sasuke and try all their new ideas, but also to see should they go with a final stage like that? And after seeing how easily everyone passed it maybe they're having second thoughts about it.

P.S. I'll take down the f**king video if you want me to. no need to get upset, I'm just suggesting you change the title of the video. Though it doesn't really matter to me at this point since I already know how it ends. I didn't mean to make a big deal about it.
