So first we had a rope climb, then we had a spider climb to a rope climb, then we had a metal ladder to a rope climb (which we never got to see in action), then we had a rope ladder to a rope climb.
Anyone care to guess what they might do next, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it will involve going up, but beyond that I have no clue.
Just one huge 80 foot rope climb might be interesting though?
Or maybe a spider climb, to a rope ladder, to a rope climb? A pole climb maybe? Shimmi up a coconut tree?
How bout a giant fire escape of devil steps?!
Ok seriously though, anyone have any clue, maybe something from another show like Viking or Kunochi?

The Viking Final would be pretty awesome, wasnt like a 50 foot commando crawl across a rope then a 30 foot climb up? Nagano almost beat it but ran out of gas right at the buzzer! No clue how this final will turn out besides the graphic they showed at the end of Sasuke 24 with the old tower falling down and some new one popping up with 3 different ropes on it. Should be interesting!

Count me in wanting a Viking final. I love it (plus the Viking sign that Nagano had to peg his way across). Outside of the stupid do-rags they had to wear on their heads and the math questions in the middle of the obstacle course run.. LOL .. I wouldn't mind seeing some more of those obstacles including the final being recreated in some way on Sasuke. After all.. the Heartbreaker has lived on to do just that in the form of the Spider Flip.

Hopefully they finally build the huge spider climb/ or two ladders one per side climb to 3 ropes transfer.

I liked the Cannonball Run, Rope Maze, Heatbreaker, and the Ultimate Plank- and of curse the tough final stage. It would be nice to see some of these or versions of them in 25.

or two ladders one per side climb uh? Kunoichi? Anyway, I really want to see the spider climb again. In my opinion too, the spider climb+three ropes would be nice. I know a Viking style final would maybe be better, but in my opinion the Final Stage simply has to be a tower. Plus, it would finally allow to drop down competitors, which they obviously couldn't do in 18-24 beause of the ladder. Would be awesome to see that again.

Alright then a salmon ladder - 3 ropes!

Devil Steps wouldn't work. How would you get the wire attached to the competitor?

Alright then a salmon ladder - 3 ropes! That sounds like a safety disaster...

For the Devil Steps, they'd probably have to change the layout a bit, or offset the Steps so it'd probably be something like this. (The rope is just for reference.) [a href=" "][/a][/url] And the safety wire would just be at the side of the steps? Using the Salmon Ladder would be cool. Being on a harness, then I don't think you'd have to worry about the bar slamming into your face from 20 feet up, since you wouldn't fall more than 1 or 2 feet anyway.

Anyway, Spider Climb, then two curtains (maybe towel-like ones for more grip) side by side, one in each hand and you just try to go up (left-right-left-right). And the curtains are bunched up to make holding them a bit easier. And then a rope climb at the end.
Or switch to the Final Viking format and you can start off with the ropes, and after Victory, start with the Arm Bike or Rumbling Dice or really long Cliff Hanger Ledge with small gaps every 12 inches or less to throw off their rhythm. Or even... a really long Body Prop (without the gaps)!
Or what I'd like maybe 4 or 5 Kanzenseiha's into the future... You can have one kind of climb with one tower, but only as high as maybe the Spider Climb, then the rest is like the Final Viking format where you go across and then up.
I was gonna make a drawing of all this... but as it turns out, there isn't anything too fancy that would prompt the need for a diagram. Some models in Google SketchUp would be pretty cool though...

You know how with the Spider Flip, you have to go up on that board? Well thats my final stage Idea. Its a board going upwards for a few yards, than you have to spider flip to another board, than you climb up it, until you reach a rope, in which case you transfer between 3 ropes. I'll make a diagram of it later, incase anyone really cares. Which no one does, but I'll make it anyway because I'm bored

Why can't it be safe? The concept art that Monster 9 made seemed to be not safe, but if you think about it, where its slanted, it could work. Here's my concept. \ Wtf, I can't get the picture to appear. Here's a link to it. i129.photobucket.com/albums/p235/JPZJoe/ConceptFinalStage1.jpg?t=1263105182

I don't think you understand physics or how not to get a safety harness caught

Whether or not you have a harness is irrelevant to the fact the bar can still slam you in the face.
If anyone's curious, it's not fun. I've done it.

Does anyone think they might add a variation of the magic wall from Kunoichi? Of course Lee Enchi will kick it's rear if that's the case.. LOL

Has anyone ever taken the Salmon Ladder bar with them on the second stage when they've fallen? Or has it always managed to stay on?
