Sasuke 8 gets the vote for me. It had everything. A newcomer, an All-Star "retiring", a regular that did retire, rain, so much drama, and one of the most emotional endings in Sasuke history.

My favorite is a toss up between 12 and 16.
12 feature the debut of Koji Yamada, all six All-Stars clearing the First Stage, and Sasuke-sensei Hiroyuki Asaoka finally clearing the Third Stage.
16, on the other hand, featured 16(!) people clearing the first stage. The Metal Spin wreaks havoc on the Second Stage, and Bunpei Shiratori becoming the first person to make a legitimite attempt on the Pipe Slider. Koji made it, too, and watching him just hang there, gassed but unwilling to let go of the pipe was pure ANGUISH!
As you might have guessed, Koji Yamada is a personal favorite, right after Shingo. Here's hoping he came back for 21.

I've got to say that my favorite Sasuke was Sasuke 17. IMO, it was an extremely difficult course, not the most difficult but still extremely difficult. But, two amazing athletes advanced to the final stage. One of them, Makoto Nagano, won after years of trying and tough losses by only seconds.

Sasuke 20. It's not really the most entertaining tournament, but it was my first (and only) ever full TBS broadcast, and it was great watching it for the first time, even though I knew the results. I love the new course, as well. I think it has far more tension than the old one.

12 for me. Nagano missing it by 0.11 secs, three people in the finals, a high-level tournament overall.

Sasuke 12 gets the cake for me. Like many have said before, all six All-Stars cleared the first stage. And all but one All-Star made it to the third stage. (All of them were going to the third stage, but Yamada forgot to remove his gloves in the second stage, therefore disqualifying him.)

I still love 15.. the one with the farking heat.. even though my cutey Nagano goes diving into the water via the metal spin.. Bunpei's and Takeda's runs were amazing.

17 just because of Nagano winning, so amazing
Plus we saw Nagasaki make the final stage, showing us a bright future

I don't really think that 4 should win just because Akiyama beat the course.

That's a good point coming from a fan of Akiyama, yet this isn't about which course wins or anything if I'm not mistaken. It's just the users and their favorites.
Nice mentions of Sasuke 12 there people, it has a lot of great moments. and interesting how far Akiyama gets, rarely he ever makes it to the third stage. Tournaments he does very well in I'd like to commend.
4 (Victory) 11 (Body Prop) 12 (Pipe Slider) 16 (Metal Spin) 20 (Half Pipe Attack)

My favorites were 5 and 18.
Five because that even though Shingo dislocated his shoulder, he was still smiles afterwards.
And 18 because of both the Nagasaki brothers making it to the second stage. Takamasa was the first competor to make it in that tournament.

Probably 20 or 12. I liked Levi's run a lot in 20 though.

I'd easily have to say 17 because of all the drama and stuff involved. Of course, Nagano winning it all, but other occurrences, like the debut of Washimi, the return of Nakata (but sadly likely also his final appearance due to his hands), the final appearance of most of the old obstacles (but of course, who knew it at the time?), and another emotional Yamada failure (which made the All-Stars sad and Nagano cry) on yet another retirement call. And oh yes, Nagasaki's breakout performance.
I voted 17, but I also liked other tournaments. Like 9 for example - to me that is when the fun really began. Nagano finally shows us what he can do, Nakata makes it to the third stage for the first time as well, and the third stage truly got harder with this tournament (at least to me, it did). I also enjoyed 4 because of Akiyama's victory, and other things like the explosive performance of one Travis Schraeder (although it sucks that his strength worked against him on the Pipe Slider). 12 was good because of the high success rate (although it sucked seeing Yamada disqualified and Nagano coming ever so close to victory only to miss it) as well as Koji Yamada's debut and Asaoka finally making it to the final stage....on an unrelated note, I wish he'd come back again.
I'd name more but I'd take up too much space.

For me it has to be 8 because of the constant rain making the first stage unpredictable and because of the emotion that kosugi showed at the end. Plus i'm a big jovtchev fan

17 and 20 were my favorites out of them all for various reasons, some obvious some for suprises and stuff.
I have to admit though even though 19 was kinda rubbish and didn't see much due to the insanity of the difficulty of the course I got almost goosebumps when Nagano fell.
When Washimi fell from the ladder my reaction was like WOW WOW ITS OVER already on stage 2 and then when that Opera music played instead of the usual Naruto tune it just felt perfect and summed the feeling like THE COURSE PROPER OWNED EVERYONE.
Was a real OMG moment I tell ya.
