FYI, there will be a short preview of SASUKE 2009秋 (aka SASUKE 23) on TBS on September 25th from 11:09 PM to 11:15 PM JST. It will be splitting time with another show so maybe the best we can hope for is 3 minutes at the most. www.tbs.co.jp/tv/daily/20090925.htmlClose to the edit! If anyone has a better version, put it up please:

Very nice. This will probably be like that one from 21, where it was like a mini-Navi. Can someone send me a recording, as I will be working at that time.

Any chance it'll contain spoilers?

Probably, it usually shows a few people failing. Look at the intro to any tournament, and watch that 20 seconds clip where they show people failing. It will be something like that but also with info on some competitors.

Shoot! Well, it'll make its way to YouTube. I'll be happy to host it. If I'm even UP at 10 AM I'll record it.

If you have a chance to record, do it for all of us.

If you have a chance to record, do it for all of us. I'll try. I'm going to try altering my sleep cycle for the week so I can get up early to record it (but I'll still stay up all night for 23). And when I record it I'll definitely host it on youtube like I did for both commercials for 22 (only this will be a preview and not a commercial)

I'll try and record it as well, and put it on Youtube. I doubt it'll be taken down. It's so short that it's easily under the limit for a direct download from Megaupload or Rapidshare as well.

When TVAnts is running, right click on the picture and copy the location to VLC same as with anything else, except it's local and it only works when you have the stream running.

IF something contains spoilers, do you really want to watch it anyways? The short preview/spoiler at the beginning of each SASUKE kind of ruins it for me so I will be turning it off if I see any spilers this time around.

Unless you psycho-analyze it (as we will after it airs) you won't see anything worth noting. Sure you'll see someone fail a new obstacle or the Slider Jump, but you won't know who it is as it happens so quickly. So, if you don't want to watch it because you don't want to see results, then you probably won't see anything. If you don't want to see stuff on obstacles or competitors, then don't tune in. Also as lars pointed out, if the 20 second intro usually bothers you, then be advised not to watch it.
O and rider, don't use camstudio. It's garbage compared to recording the actual stream.

Last time I didn't recognise anyone they showed beforehand, although I think they showed Kawahara's wipeout. Plus, they usually repeat these at the beginning of Sasuke anyway. The beginning of 22 additionally featured David's near miss on the Slider Jump which was a huge spoiler to us. The main thing last time was showing the final stage, but again, they had that at the beginning of the actual broadcast as well.
EDIT: Come to think of it, I think we picked out Lee En Chi on the Salmon Ladder from one of the commercials, and we also noticed that the people celebrating in the trailer were STQers.

Completely off topic... but if I ever get good at programming, I should make a video converter program that makes the file look as if you stuck a recorder camera in-front of the television screen, redneck style. It would include slight shaking, off-balance/tilted screens, and occasional camera movement to show your half-naked buddy/girlfriend for a tenth of a second before returning to the television screen. It'll be AWESOME!
Back on topic: I'd try to stream-record myself, but VLC really seems to hate this version of the Windows 7 Beta (It worked far better with previous versions), and it only runs properly about less than half the time. So, I'm just glad TVAnts is working fine, seeing how it crashed on me RIGHT as Sasuke 22 started last time. I really dont want to install Livestation this time though... I had to miss crucial parts last time (Like David's epic grab on the Slider Jump) because it would just take a crap and not change the footage for about 10 seconds at a time... I freaking HATED HATED HATED HATED HATED it...
-EDIT-
Wait... I didn't mean livestation... that was the HQ version that dropped early. Won't be trying that one unless others can tell me it's working. I meant the version that sucks. You all know what I mean.
