It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's the NNL World Championship Guessing Game I: Astroworld Glider! Bet you didn't see this one coming. RULESSubmit your guesses below by Friday, February 15 at 4 PM Eastern Standard Time. Note that this is NOT midnight. I figure we'll probably announce stage 1 late Friday night and I don't want y'all rushing back to change your guesses. You are guessing based on a completely random course. You may enter on SMF or Discord. Do not enter on both. These guesses are for the PRO DIVISION ONLY. I'm not taking young adults on a technicality. All scores will be based on the official results in Ninjaworks at the conclusion of the event. I have final say on what counts and what doesn't/ Your "Top International Competitor" must reside outside of the US. I will try to alert you if you picked a US resident. International competitors are subject to change based on the outcome of the International Qualifier on February 13, but you may change this if they fail to qualify. Drew Drechsel isn't competing so don't pick him. Winner will receive an NNL T-shirt. US shipping only. If I win, the shirt will go to whoever gets 2nd place. If there is an international winner, I will look into shipping you a shirt if it's possible/not too expensive, and if it's not I will find an alternate prize. RUN ORDER FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE. This run order is SUBJECT TO CHANGE. If one of your guesses never takes the course, too bad. SCORING1st Stage Clears: 20 points, -1 for each off high or low 2nd Stage Clears: 20 points, -2 for each off high or low 3rd Stage Clears: 20 points, -10 for each off high or low 1st Place Male/Female: 20 points if they finish in 1st, 10 points if they finish in 2nd, 5 points if they finish in 3rd 2nd Place Male/Female: 10 points if they finish in 1st or 2nd, 5 points if they finish in 3rd 3rd Place Male/Female: 5 points if they finish in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Top International Competitor: 5 points Fastest stage clear: 10 points for 1st, 8 points for 2nd, 6 points for 3rd, 4 points for 4th, 2 points for 5th. PICK ONE PER STAGE. DO NOT PICK THE SAME PERSON. Bonus questions are 5 points each Tiebreaker: Guess the time that the 1st Stage finishes on Saturday (based on when "Fail" is pressed in Ninjaworks for the last runner), Eastern standard time. You are allowed to guess times on Sunday morning if you believe that the final Saturday wave will spill over into the early hours of Sunday morning. Officially this is defined as the time the last run of the last wave that started on Sunday finishes. The maximum is 205 points. BLANK ENTRY (copy and paste everything below this line)1st Stage Clears: 2nd Stage Clears: 3rd Stage Clears: 1st Place Male: 2nd Place Male: 3rd Place Male: 1st Place Female: 2nd Place Female: 3rd Place Female: Top International Competitor: Fastest 1st Stage Clear: Fastest 2nd Stage Clear: Will a woman clear the 1st Stage?: Will the 1st Stage time limit be above 1:44?: Will the 2nd Stage time limit be above 2:49?: Will an athlete that does not reside in the United States make it to the 3rd Stage?: Will any athlete receive a re-run based on an overturned video review?: Will the final obstacle of the 3rd Stage be attempted?: Will the final run of the event finish before 6:30 PM Monday?: Will the commentators mention Drew Drechsel's Backstream course out?: Will Chris Wilczewski do a "fun run" aired on the broadcast?: Will Drew Drechsel do a "fun run" on the 3rd Stage and clear in one go?: Tiebreaker:

Version 1.17 now available! I call this one Ninja Machine: The Master Chief Collection. www.mediafire.com/file/ri9dpan9zdawf16/NinjaMachineFinal.zip/fileNEW MODE: SKILLS CHALLENGESYou guys liked Pro Memesman so much that I added the five Skills Challenges that I coded for the event: Flying Roll, Long Jump, Super Salmon Ladder, Tower Rush, and Wicked Wingnuts. More skills challenges/Sportsman events are coming soon, and in v2 you'll be able to make your own custom formats so you can have your own Sportsman/Memesman/whateversman competitions. NEW COMPETITORS:Atsushi Risaizawa Hikaru Iwamoto Hiroki Kondo Hirotaka Urabe Jin-Guk Kim Kimito Morimoto Kota Sakuma Kou Kunitomo Takumaki Masuko Shuichi Minatoso Mizuki Maeda Nachi Suzuki Noa Ishikuna Rei Matsumoto Ryo Watabe Seito Yamamoto So Hideaki Tho Doan Nguyen Tsubasa Kiuchi Yoshinori Isa Yutaru Shimojo NEW OBSTACLES:Balance Tank (v2) - apparently I never coded this Perfect Spider Walk - suggested as a joke(?), it's the SASUKE 1-4 Spider Walk with Spider Drop Pole Maze - now available in Untimed Shelves into Cargo - exactly what it says on the tin OTHER STUFF:* Common Competitors: I gave 200 competitors "Common" status (I know the sheet says 201, I can't figure out who the wrong one is). Since there are so many competitors now, you can now run random lineups just with more familiar competitors. * One-word names should no longer display with that space after the end * General gameplay and obstacle improvements * Added new secret competitors * Finally credited Sierra for making my code readable * I put in a fun Easter egg someone will find in either 30 seconds or June

The producers ruled touching the water on the Jump Hang as a disqualification, and by (their) rule anyone who was disqualified was eliminated from the competition.

VERSION 1.15www.mediafire.com/file/thdjh9kwjatfdqu/NinjaMachineFinal.zip/fileEVERYONE IS HERE. All SASUKE and ANW National Finals courses are in the game! Some consequences of this: * SASUKE 1-4 have been added. Get ready for a lot of clears. * SASUKE 18-21 and ANW 6-7 Vegas have also been added. Relive Isaac's victory in ANW 7 if you want. Nothing else notable happened that tournament anyway. ** Oh, and SASUKE 19 editions of the Jumping Spider and Flying Chute. * I sucked it up and did ANW 8 Oklahoma City too. That was bothering me. * All the MUSOUs and SASUKE Nitros are up to date as well. More importantly, CUSTOM FINAL STAGE and COMPLETE FINAL STAGE OVERHAUL. * Yes, you can now import your created custom Final Stages! Read the instructions in _CUSTOM FINAL INFO_.txt. * Final Stage has been completely rewritten from the ground up (pun intended). The Final Stage now involves stamina and blanket randomness, so variance has been significantly increased. No more "automatic kanzenseiha" every time Geoff or Drew gets to the Final Stage. * Final Stage time inputs now work like the 1st and 2nd Stages, so feel free to speed through the Final Stage runs at your own pace. This will be especially useful if you decide to run SASUKE 1. Trust me. ** As a consequence of this, obstacles with dismounts now run faster if the speed is set to a number higher than 1. I also added the usual fare of new competitors and obstacle buffs/nerfs.

For what it's worth: I was complaining to a prominent international ninja about how no country has done this franchise justice lately and he immediately pointed out France is doing well. So maybe we should pay attention to France.

IMMEDIATELY ran SASUKE 16 but there is a problem. The Jump Hang being... AFTER the rope reverse and reverse fly? Jump hang preceded them. Also I fear the tarzan rope MAY be the one from 10 - 12 based off how much time is being lost on it. Fixed, download again

www.mediafire.com/file/ri9dpan9zdawf16/NinjaMachineFinal.zip/fileTime to update your game again. I've been busy. NEW COURSES: SASUKE 13-17, SASUKE 23-25, Australian Ninja Warrior 2 Grand Final, SASUKE Nitro 2 (by Kyle Foley), ANW 10 LA, ANW 10 Dallas, ANW 10 Miami, ANW 8 Atlanta, ANW 8 Indianapolis NEW COMPETITORS: Alex Bigg Alex Matthews Andrew Swinghammer Ben Cossey Ben Toyer Betsy Burnett Brian Burkhardt Brian Sobel Brittany Hanks Bryson Klein Celeste Dixon Cody Philip Daniel Walker Davyon Hancox Drew Hendry Elliott Jolivette Emily Durham Eric Middleton Eric Nelson Georgia Bonora India Henry Jack Gooch Jack Wilson Jayden Irving Jordan Papandrea Josh Norton Kevin Jordan Mat Redho Mike Murray Nathan Ryles Patrick Teylan RJ Roman Rob Patterson Ryan Brooke Sam Goodall Shane Rogers Stewart Furze Zed Colback NEW OBSTACLES: Archer Steps Baton Pass Big Dipper Bridge Jump Butterfly Wall Circle Slider Climbing Bars Crazy Clocks Cross Bridge Curtain Slider Delta Bridge Devil Balanco Disc Runner Dome Steps Doorknob Drop (nerfed) Ensuitobi Fallout Flying Shelf Grab Giant Cubes Hurdle Jump Jump Hang (13) Jumping Bars (6) Jyunidantobi Maruta Zaka Mega Wall Nejireta Kabe Reverse Fly Rope Junction Rope Reverse Sandan Rolling Maruta Silk Slider Slider Drop Spider Trap Swing Circle X-Bridge BUG FIXES/OTHER STUFF: * Competitor limit is now 200. Fun fact, this was actually in the last update and nobody figured it out. * Nobody ever realized the 3rd Stage only prints in full-second increments dating back to v0.7 (2014). It doesn't any more. * Completely rewrote Jumping Bars. I will probably rewrite several more obstacles over the next few updates without commenting. Long story short, there are some obstacles that can only be failed on the last iteration and I have no idea why, so I'm rewriting some of them. * SASUKE Nitro 1's Double Wedge corrected to the dismount version * Courses are now outlined in the All Competitors and Obstacles file, mainly for my own convenience

Unfortunately the stream wasn't very good and we're working on getting better streams the rest of the season. We do have HD footage that we recorded locally that will be going up tonight or tomorrow on our YouTube so stay tuned for that.

Close to a whole two years after the fact, my curiosity was piqued and I checked up on the details of an ancient force in the SMF community... So now I'm genuinely scratching my head as to why SolitudeSeeker was permabanned. Yeah his writing style was... unique, but he mostly stuck to the Spam Forum and didn't harm anyone. If anything, I think the users at the time were a little too harsh on him. Perhaps the mods could've been a tad more lenient with a user with a very clear mental disability. So I'm making this post in honour of you buddy. If you're reading this, you have my well wishes, lol. If memory serves, he went on a profanity-laden tirade that has been lost to history. I know someone who occasionally keeps in touch with him and while he's still a little out there he's holding up.

No, but they will be available on Facebook and we'll be uploading full runs from the top ninjas on YouTube. That's too bad. Facebook video is generally terrible quality compared to Youtube, although I don't really know if that is inherent to the service or just that people upload in crap quality. While I've heard YouTube's codec is better, I think a lot of the quality issues have to do with the streams being recorded on a cell phone and the quality of the internet at the facility. While we could in theory set up the same quality as we had at this past year's World Championship, it would be extremely impractical. The full runs posted on YouTube will be from our GoPro and have much higher quality.

I mean we started just with the domestic league but with the "ninja arms race" to borrow a phrase it was in our best interest to affiliate with other international events such as the NCL in Australia and Barbados Ninja Throwdown. Additionally we have the International Qualifier which has seen athletes from all over the world. Perhaps one day we'll consider a rebrand to, say, "Global Ninja League", but right now it doesn't make sense rebranding when our name is so recognizable within the community. On the other hand you'd probably want to rebrand before becoming known outside the community. The ninjas would adjust very quickly, but when it becomes known to the general public it's really too late to change. According to the schedule we're getting close to starting up. Any news on streams this season? Streams will be available for every qualifier (barring technical difficulties) on our Facebook page: www.facebook.com/nationalninjaleagueThe first stream will be this Sunday starting at 10 AM local time (12 PM Eastern 9 AM Pacific).

World Championship location will be announced later this month. By the way, it's World Championship, stop saying finals Having a World Championship while you're calling yourself the National league sends somewhat of a mixed message...
