I think this is a really good move to bring in people who don't like the format of the NNL and those who feel intimidated by the difficulty. It will really bring in more of a casual audience and will help bring in people who compete in that one other league for that reason. Hope its a success!

I don't think any gym in DFW was apart of the NNL so I'm excluded.

I think Season 4 of NNL will be its biggest season so far.

I believe another ninja related event happened at a gym very close to there too! Ah yes SOAR United. I forgot the ninja event in question however...

I noticed Philip and Thatoneuser as staff members of the NNL. Philip is webmaster and Alex is Data Collection and Social Media Team.

It sucks that there can't be NNL gyms in every part of the country, but I am much happier with the NNL only having the highest quality gyms instead of having gyms that aren't safe and have no idea what they're doing like a certain other league....

here is what i would do for next season.
You have the season, qualifying events etc , people can get to the finals that way with the usual qualifying points system.
You have a qualifying event just before the finals for international competitors etc
You have a certain number of wildcards/ invitations
BUT you also have provision for anyone (i mean anyone) to come off the street and pay $1000 on the day and run in the finals (this includes people who tried to qualify other ways and failed). That extra money goes straight into the prize fund. you have 20 people do this, that's 20 grand. Sean McColl, Tim Sheriff, Jesse Leflair etc want to come in and pay a grand to compete, let them

Here have a schedule www.nationalninja.com/schedule1.htmlNew gyms this season are Ninja Nation Lafayette, NinjaForce, Axios Warrior, and Obstacle Warriors Woodlands. Potentially more to come. Competitions are now sorted into regions. There are no limits on the number of comps a gym can host but there can only be one competition per region per weekend (unless the youth/adults are split which a few gyms are opting to do). Competitors can do as many competitions in as many regions as they want (you're not bound to one region). Unlike the rec league points are accrued on a national level. Top 3 that haven't qualified advance to the World Championship World Championship location will be announced later this month. By the way, it's World Championship, stop saying finals

By the way, it's World Championship, stop saying finals Having a World Championship while you're calling yourself the National league sends somewhat of a mixed message... I mean we started just with the domestic league but with the "ninja arms race" to borrow a phrase it was in our best interest to affiliate with other international events such as the NCL in Australia and Barbados Ninja Throwdown. Additionally we have the International Qualifier which has seen athletes from all over the world. Perhaps one day we'll consider a rebrand to, say, "Global Ninja League", but right now it doesn't make sense rebranding when our name is so recognizable within the community.

Even just Ninja League could be a potential name for it. But NNL is definitely easy to remember and catchy.

On the other hand you'd probably want to rebrand before becoming known outside the community. The ninjas would adjust very quickly, but when it becomes known to the general public it's really too late to change. According to the schedule we're getting close to starting up. Any news on streams this season?
