Same with Ryo Matachi and Brian Arnold. I mean if it went that way both ways, it be a 3 way tie and wouldn't that be even cooler to watch? (also if Japan did survive to stage 4, we'd get some redemption for Shingo in the final stage...) I see 0 chance Shingo would have been sent onto the Final Stage for the tiebreaker in USA vs The World 1 (Or 2 if you count USA vs Japan as the first one) instead of 2 time Sasuke champ Urushihara Yuuji who was still on Team Japan at that point He wasn't tho

Wales is going to the finals. Also, if the UK votes out of the Euro, do they get kicked out of the Euros? Cuz then it becomes a round of 12 lol

lol not even really arguable. Kane's competed more seasons than any other American, and he's actually made it to the final stage.

I looked that up, it's 9 western I think. West coast can be weird. If it's a live event they start at like 6pm but if it's a taped event they will delay it to fit the 9pm hour. I assume that's what's happening here. Yeah no way prime time TV starts at 6.

Eh, Team Europe is pretty cool IMO. I'm honestly just raring to see how Owen deals with a taste of the Vegas course. He'd better be able to back up his words, even though it's a shame there's no Japanese there to prove him wrong. Mars and Shieff are awesome, but still wish Mccoll (Sorry - I know he's great) would be replaced with an actual frenchman, and Ghisolfi with a proper Italian. Next year I guess, considering both countries now have their own ninja warriors. Um, Ghisolfi's a perfectly proper Italian.

I saw that. Wish I knew how he did... It says how he did on the Philly qualifier thread.

I swear ATS couldn't make an iconic original obstacle to save a life, even with their gigantic budget. This entire course is more of the same from years' past and relies entirely on M9's brilliant ideas. They can make whatever they want, yet the course has been a modified Sasuke 27 for 4 years now, mixed together with asymmetrical and ugly obstacles. I don't think I'll ever experience that feeling of awe again given from seeing obstacles like the Jumping Spider, the Salmon Ladder, the Rolling Escargot, etc. for the first time. TBS today doesn't do a much better job, either. More understandably, of course, due to the financial situation, but not even close to what M9 used to bang out year after year. They have been rather lax in Vegas, but they've come up with some damn good obstacles in city qualifying and finals. Double Tilt Ladders, Ring Toss, Double Helix, Floating Monkey Bars...and Vegas has also had stuff like Roulette Row and Rope Jungle.

It seems almost like Sasuke and ANW are having a sort of obstacle war, and seeing who can build the biggest, baddest obstacles. Wondering if this will be a trend.

WELP. No one's winning this year lol What in the name of God is the "Piston Road Kai"? Don't think that's the official name. It's the piston road obstacle but the surface that you step on wiggles as if it has a ball underneath it.
Next year the pistons'll f***in rotate 360 degrees.

Haven't signed yet, so here's one last overview of Vegas 2016 from driving.
Stage 1 1. Piston Road Kai (MODIFIED) 2. Propeller Bar 3. Log Grip to floating platform (NEW) 4. Jumping Spider 5. Sonic Curve Kai (MODIFIED) 6. Warped Wall 7. Balance Plates (NEW) 8. Swinging Handles (NEW) 9. Cargo Net
Stage 2 1. Ring Swing (NEW) 2. Double Salmon Ladder 3. Hourglass Bridge (NEW) 4. Butterfly Wall 5. Double Wedge (NEW) 6. Wall Lift
Stage 3 1. Circuit Breaker (NEW) 2. Floating Boards Kai (MODIFIED) 3. Ultra Crazy Cliffhanger ANW EDITION (MODIFIED) 4. Sine Curve Body Prop (NEW) 5. Hang Climb 6. Walking Bar (NEW) 7. Flying Bar
Good luck to all the ninjas! Because of a certain obstacle, we may see no Stage 2 clears this year. :/
ARE YOU f***ing KIDDING ME!? In the past, I have disagreed with those that stated the stages of ANW were too tough/unfair, but this one seems ridiculous. Stage 1 is fine, but then they just HAVE to bring back some of the most BS obstacles in history like the hugely unfair and luck based Hourglass Drop/Walking Bar. Ridiculous. And ON TOP of the difficulty that will already be added due to the new stuff, they go and add a layer of unfairness too. Ok but you sayin that the Walking Bar is unfair, but the flying bar isn't?

Cool thanks! So it seems they scaled down the All-Star event to just the skills competition? Personally I find that more entertaining. Geez so the event starts tomorrow night! I'm sure it's going crazy with everyone getting into town. Yep, I can't wait to see everyone real soon! And I'm really curious without a certain person who will be in Team Japan this year. I'm sure you know (and can't say of course). Praying for Wreathman

Below are my submissions (spoilered for size). Yes, the descriptions are overly corny and riddled with puns on purpose. These are good, I've often thought of a sine curve wall myself.
