I was just re-watching Sasuke 37 and after watching Takeshi Kaisei's (#83) impressive save on Wing Slider which he kinda cleared with only 1 foot and 1 hand, it gave me inspiration to create this thread. Who do you think has the most impressive or amazing save in Sasuke history? We talk about times that looked like someone is really gonna fail but somehow managed to make it through. Leave your comments below, I wanna hear about your opinions about this

The two that spring immediately to my mind are Ryo's one-handed save on the UCCH in 36, and that Rolling Hill save by [redacted] in 31 with the double-back, immediately after Shingo and Takeda both yeeted off the top.

I second Ryo's Cliffhanger save in 36, and You-Know-Who's Rolling Hill save in 31. Those are two of the ones I remember best.
Also, wasn't there an impressive Balance Tank save at some point? My memory is fuzzy, but I seem to recall there being one.

I was watching 12 yesterday, and I can't remember who, but someone jumped from the Balance tank, fell backwards when landing on the mat, but the tank caught up with them and boosted them back onto the finish mat safely! EDIT: Although I suppose the difference there was that it was accidental, rather than deliberate.

Pretty impressive! It might be the one I'm remembering, but I think there are other impressive Balance Tank saves as well.

Just gonna name one that hasn't been mentioned yet, Yamada Katsumi in 5, when he accidently made the rolling log go off the track, but he amazingly touched the end platform and didn't even touched water.

Also there's a couple saves that also came into my mind and I think these are also worth mentioning: - Ragivaru Anastase's (#94) Drum Hopper save in Sasuke 32. Those slippery drums almost got him down when his hands slipped but somehow he managed to climb himself up from there. - Joji Amano's (#42) Double Pendulum save in 33. In my opinion this is the most hilarious clearance in Sasuke history Guy grabbed the bar with only one hand and grabbed the bag only with his arms and almost fell into water after. That was so hilariously clumsy that it's worth mentioning.

Oh yeah, there have been a few different impressive Drum Hopper saves. The look on the competitors' faces is always priceless too. Raising yourself up like that isn't easy.

There was a butterfly wall save where the competitor (he wore a suit, if my memory serves me right) started to lose his balance, jumped back onto the wall and made the save.

I've got some: Akiyama's Pipe Slider save from Sasuke 4. Jun Sato's Circle Slider save from Sasuke 25. Shingo's Jump Hang and Lamp Grasper save from Sasuke 12. Yuuji's Chain See-Saw save.

- Suzuki in 32 who literally saved himself from failing the first transition of the first obstacle of Stage 3 - Not sure you can call this a save but Jovtchev in 8; saved himself from being defeated by the Warped Wall and cleared with 0.00 seconds left - Morimoto in 33 on the Fish Bone

Obviously Ryo in 36 on the UCCH and The Pile Of S*** in 31 on the Rolling Hill, but I also want to add Yuuji's save on the Jumping Spider in 26, which came just after Nagano failed it.

I would type Shoei in SASUKE 8. He literally toppled over from the platform but recover in time to ensure his Clear. Considering Yamamoto did the same 17 runs later and fail to recover, it is amazing to see that.

Lots of Drum Hopper recoveries mentioned. Kawaguchi really stands out to me. Especially considering he later become just the second person to clear crazy cliffhanger and the first person to clear RISING era stage 3. It's cool how they showed it in replay too.

His hand slipped but he managed to hold on just enough to clear the part where he fell in t10. He failed just about 10 secs later

Even though it was in a Navi, Kota Ibushi's Double Pendulum save on Sasuke 33 is probably one of the best saves I've ever seen. Dude accidently kicked the sandbag while he was still on the trapeze swing, and STILL somehow cleared the obstacle.
