8 people beat Stage 1
4 people beat Stage 2
1 of the 4 beats the UCH, but is squashed by the Flying Bar.

What were you basing your predictions on? Logic that over time went screwy. EDIT: After watching Ryo's video... I think Yuuji might have the potential to get kanzenseiha very, very soon.

I think he just needs to get used to the number 100. As soon as he is able to handle the pressure, he will be going deep into the course.

It's very possible the post-UCH obstacles are easier than than the post-SCH obstacles. I can't see anyone failing the Jumping Rings or Bungee Ropes. Also, the Flying Bar is more difficult than the Jumping Bars in terms of precision, but probably not much more difficult in terms of strength required. It seems to me that it's just a bunch of Double Salmon Ladder transfers with the extra possibility of overshooting. At the very least, if someone passes the UCH, I'm pretty sure they'll reach the final obstacle.

After 27, or most likely 28, they'll kill the Umbilical Cord, which is its Muscle Park name, and put in a harder climb, and an equvilant of the Spider Flip, which was one of my favorite obstacles by the way, but they won't get rid of the Jumping Rings and if they do, it will probably be Jumping Curtains.

They tried a version of that in 18... did not work out too well... The only curtain obstacle that can work in the curtain cling

Do you really want me to unleash the Spinning Gauntlets? (Formally Known as the Spinning Jump, came up with the new name on a fly.) And the Curtain Slider was a grade "A" obstacle.
I predict high ratings for 27 if they do what they did during the rest of the show's run.

I predict high ratings for 27 if they do what they did during the rest of the show's run. Which was...? anyways, Sasuke isnt going to get good ratings. Here are the ratings since nagano won 18: 17.5 19: 15.2% down 2.3% 20: 14.4% down .8% 21: 12.2% down 2.2% 22: 14.7% up 2.5%. This is the only time the ratings have gone up from 18-25. 23: 14.1% down .6% 24: 11.7% down 2.4% 25: 7.5% (after Yuuji won) down 4.2% 26: 9.0 up 1.5% 27: ??% So, while yes, Sasuke's ratings can go up, they wont go up 8+% to where the show can be salvaged. I mean hell, they HARDLY advertise sasuke anymore. Both M9 and TBS know the show is ending (and this is probably the last sasuke too ). The ratings will most likely drop to around 8.2% or if they go up to like 9.5%. if they break double digits consider it a miricle. You have ton look at this realistically, Sasuke's ratings will never, be high again. Ever. Also, please inform me to what the spinning jump is?

Yeah, but if they advertise it enough and do what everyone wants them to do, it might get revived, though the odds are pretty slim, but King of the Hill was revived in a way before dying in 2010. A 13.something will save the show
The Spinning Jump is basically like three doorknob graspers, however, there are large gaps in between and the box that the doorknobs are on spin like the propeller bars.
If Sasuke gains a 13.5 rating, it might be saved, and if that happens, 28 might occur and have an increase in ratings, since the atmosphere will be more optimistic. If that occurs, Sasuke will keep on going until Kansenseiha 4, then it'll die, but it's better it lives to old age than die the death of Kunoichi.

They could probably get an 8 and we could see Sasuke 28. I'll refrain from explaining why Sasuke can get away with such low ratings.

By 8 you mean 17 right? And you refrained because I explained it?

By 8 you mean 17 right? And you refrained because I explained it? What? No, because it's more speculation, and the speculation is that Ninja Warrior, and the international appeal of Sasuke is keeping Sasuke alive in Japan. I only base this theory off the fact that Sasuke is still alive.

Why would it doing well in another country help it in it's own country?... By that logic wouldn't ANW1 and ANW2 made 23 and 26 big hits?... Oh? it didn't?... think about that...

Well my theory is this. SASUKE in Japan is still alive today because it still brings in money for the TBS/M9, even if most of that is coming from abroad. From reading posts here all these years, 10% is usually the magic number for shows to get the boot or not. KUNOICHI 7 got a 12.7% and did not appear in 2008. Then it comes back in 2009 and gets a 9.5% (its worst rating) and has since been "cancelled".
The last two SASUKEs have had worse ratings than any KUNOICHI broadcast (7.5% for 25 and 9.0% for 26). So why is it coming back for SASUKE 27? Normally wouldn't a 9.0 show or even a 7.5% show get cancelled? Yes.
Thus, the international money is saving it from being cancelled COMPARED TO other shows with a similar rating (7.5%-10%). Obviously, if SASUKE gets a 5% it's over, but relative to other shows in the same rating category, it is doing well.

Go dig it up as you are very good at, and just read all the post I made. I really don't feel like having a re run at this discussion.
