If you ask me, when I first laid eyes on the Ultimate Cliffhanger, I didn't even think it was a Cliffhanger because all of the previous versions had 3 ledges, I thought that they had created an evil monster, not an obese Cliffhanger, anyways, I love the Ultimate Cliffhanger because nowadays, it might be the reincarnation of the 9-17 Cliffhanger.

The cliff-hanger to me was always a short intense obstacle. People got through it fast but you had this tiny ledge to hold onto.
Now it's like a long arduous journey through a mountain. Takes insane strength and endurance. It's pretty nuts.

I wish they would do that to the Body Prop and bring it back.
I predict that either Nagano or Yuuji, or both, will make it to Stage 2, If Akiyama comes back, it's either Rolling Escargot, Warped Wall, or Giant Swing. If he clears, he lose on the Slider Drop if it stays, no one really likes it and I don't like the Balance Tank with a long rope, I like short, barely reachable ropes.

There's a lot of obstacles they've gotten rid of, so I don't see why they wouldn't get rid of the Cliff hanger... Users on this forum created dynamic huge cliff hangers long before the UCH. It's only surprising because M9 would do that. 1. And how many of those would actually work/be logical for the course? Many fan obstacles are more unrealistic than anything M9 could ever think about using. 2. M9 got rid of the Wall Lifting for one tournament, realized how stupid that was and brought it back. Some things you just shouldn't remove, Wall Lifting and Cliffhanger are a couple of those. 1. The UCH is pretty unrealistic, if you posted a pic of the UCH, I'd say lol, it's cool, but I don't think it should be on Sasuke, it's too difficult. 2. M9 got rid of the Wall Lifting for what could be argued as the dumbest obstacle in the history of Sasuke, THAT is why they brought back the Wall Lifting. Had they created a clever new obstacle, I don't think we would still see the Wall Lifting today. "Iconic" obstacles are fine, but they should eventually be replaced by other "Iconic" obstacles. I don't like that word though "Iconic" because M9 gets rid of "Iconic" obstacles all the time, and often replaces it with other "Iconic" obstacles. It's time to replace the worn out Cliff Hanger with a new "Iconic" obstacle.

What would you do if they did a UCH makeover to the Body Prop?

I'd prefer them not make an obstacle so hard that even people with replicas can't beat...
I also don't like that in order to beat Sasuke today, you need replicas. I miss the day when it felt like anyone could win Sasuke if they were fit enough. Today, it takes much more than that.

I would agree with that feeling for every tournament past 17 except for SASUKE 23. In that tournament, it really felt like anyone could do it. Also, there wasn't much changed between that tournament and the disastrous First Stage of SASUKE 22. Just a few obstacle changes in the beginning and a few tweaks at the end of the course. That tournament is by far the most enjoyable Shin-SASUKE tournament in my opinion. SASUKE doesn't even need to be changed that much, just a few obstacles made a little bit easier and have a lenient time limit and you have a formula for a lot of clears.

I agree with you, however, I feel that way more than ever with the UCH. I miss the days when obstacles look easy, but were hard. I think that made it more fun, because it almost felt like if you got fit, you could do it. Today, that feeling is gone.

And I love the death of that feeling, everything on SASUKE is now a serious hardcore course, and that new dark feeling is like the chicken I cooked for supper tonight, a whole bag of spicy seasoning in the chicken seasoning, SASUKE isn't supposed to be fun, it's supposed to be a difficult, near-impossible game show.

... well I didn't get that analogy but I feel that although Sasuke is meant to be very difficult, the ray of hope that someone will complete it is what gives Sasuke its appeal. For me and many others, the UCH is slowly making that ray of hope smaller.

I know, it's wonderful, I don't want SASUKE to end, but it's been a while since we've had a hard Cliffhanger, I predict that the third stage will remain unbeaten in 27, the Flying Bar is NOT going to be cleared in 27, it takes a good strategy to beat an obstacle like that.

The UCH is definitely difficult, but it's not impossible, between 25 and 26 people have been training for it and between 26 and now people are stepping up training for stage 3 as a whole, I think 27 is the day stage 3 gets a far attempt

I know its not impossible, for a rare joke coined by me, think of the UCH as an overweight Cliffhanger that overate after 24 after everyone beat it.

Attached is my seven page dissertation on what I assume the results of SASUKE 27 to be. It also comes with my predictions of the competitor numbers as well as the course. It's a very interesting read and I hope you all enjoy. And I promise, there at least three results that come to mind that will downright shock you. Attachments:

I predict that all of the competitors will have a super fun time! At the end of the day that's all that matters.

My predictions:
>10 people passes 1st stage.
>5 people passes 2nd stage.
Someone will beat the UCH, but no one will make it to the final stage.
