Which competitors in Sasuke 26 do you think had the most shocking departure?
Nagano's fall from the JS and Yuuji and Yamamoto's scared the heck out of me.
Everyone just crumpled..

Nagano and Yuuji looked terrified, and neither of them have been invincible recently, so it wasn't too shocking for me.
I think the two biggest shocks were Kongu's fail (in a digest no less) and Hashimoto on the Metal Spin, they were completely out of nowhere.

Kongu definitely.
Nagano's was really shocking also. Urushihara nearly failed the Escargot and the JS. Then he screwed up the landing on the HPA. I think he was just really nervous. But overall Nagano and Kongu were probably the most shocking. I didnt find Hashimoto's fail really shocking. When he got to the Metal spin I had a feeling he would fail it.

Yep, Hashimoto and Kongu by far, was not expecting either. Nagano i saw coming and after Yuuji had almost failed the escargot then the Jumping Sipider it wasn't a shock to see him make another mistake.

For me the most shocking was definitely Nagano simply for the fact that he was training specifically for the jump as shown in navi.
That being said all of the big name escargot fails shocked the crap out of me. Yuuji failing the hpa was also surprising but I doubt he would of had enough time to clear even if he had of passed it.

Nagano. Yuuji 2nd place, third place is a tie between Kongu and Shingo.

Top 3, Yuuji, Kenji and Kouji
Yes I know Nagano on the JS was shocking but he's been f'ing up jumps recently so I'm not that shocked... Not to mention the JS height

I didn't really think Hashimoto's was that shocking. He looked pretty winded by the time he got to the metal spin. Nagano was a shocker for me because he was training for that jump and I didn't think that he would fail any obstacle that had nothing to do with jump height so I thought he was a shoe in to the second stage this time since he never showed any problems with the js. Yuuji's fail I was shocked with but I wasn't surprised since he almost failed twice. A shocker I thought was Brian O's, its too bad they digested all of the Americans but I was surprised the digested him; his run wasn't even that long to begin with.

I thought Yamada's was somewhat shocking. I mean, although he never beats the first stage, the dude can make it far in the course. I mean, he usually times out on the Warped Wall or something stupid.
I was not expecting him to fail the Jumping Spider.
Same thing with Nagano. I love the dude, but I'm really scared that Nagano is losing his magic.

I honestly thought with how Nagano was looking (VERY NERVOUS) that he'd fall to the Rolling Escargot.. so I let my guard down and then SPLASH in the obstacle I feared the least for him!
Yuuji channeled like 3 people in his run.. it almost put carnival music around his run.. did NOT expect where he failed.. that was a total Shingo maneuver..

You almost expected him to do the Shingo Tongue (tm). As far as shocking, besides the obvious Yuuji and Nagano, seeing Kongu fail the RE was a huge shock. I would have put him in stage 3, not failing stage 1.

I knew something was up when they showed Koji before Okuyama on stage 2.... I was expecting him to somehow timeout though LOL.
As for fails I was shocked by Kongu and Yuuji the most. Brian failing on the roulette cylinder during ANW2 was shocking as well. Obv. not at Sasuke 26 because I watched ANW2. They zoomed in on Nagano's face before the jumping spider and he looked way too nervous.
The most shocking not fails: Octopus on the 1st 2 obstacles. Ishikawa on rolling escargot. (DID ANYONE SEE HIS FORM? OMFG HOW DID HE PASS THAT)

Everyone's fails were shocking. That is all. hahaha you're awesome! This captures the whole thread basically. But honestly the ones that were the craziest for me were the ones that made me grab my hair; i.e. Nagano.. and pretty much everyone who failed the third obstacle, that sucker is new and can't wait to see how people manage to replicate it... REALLY happy about David and the Americans though But man, are they going to have to whoop out some SERIOUS upper body training in ANW.
