What if Ryo, after his sasuke 31 fail, decides to go through mental therapy to help him on sasuke like shingo did prior to 40, which allowed Ryo to not easily chock as well as move a little bit faster on the course? And he achieved these results:
32-Lumber Jack climb, but fails at the very end of Stage 1 33-Flying Bar 34-Vertical Limit (fails in the same was as Yusuke) 35-Wrapped wall 36-Vertical Limit 37-Jugo Dan 38-Wall Lift, but fails at the very end of stage 2 39-Vertical Limit (goes further than Tada) 40-Final Stage rope climb
How would the fans react to Ryo with these kinds of results? A Ryo with the right mental mindset where he doesn't make any silly mistakes and would train as much as he did from 27-30.

A Ryo with the right mental mindset where he doesn't make any silly mistakes and would train as much as he did from 27-30. Agreed on most of these but with a few caveats. Assuming he had trained properly after his failure in 31, he would've aggressively trained legs/the Tackle, which is what caused him to fail in 32. He had a laughably bad technique, ate up a lot of time using said technique, and it tired him out enough to fail the wall multiple times. Even despite this, he still cleared the wall, but with no time left. Had he trained more in advance he would've got to the wall quicker and would've taken fewer attempts, so he'd either clear and reach the Ultra Crazy (as Stage 2 was a cakewalk and he wore #90 so wouldn't have had to run Stage 3 in the rain) or he'd time out in the way you described, the latter being due to the fact that the Tackle was considerably heavier, though the wall was shorter. 33 I could still see him failing the Fish Bone as even in his prime he struggled with unexpected challenges, otherwise a Stage 2 timeout due to the tighter time limit, and hardened conveyer, then otherwise Flying Bar. If he fails the wall in 35 then he's probably also failing it in 37 as he wore a number in the 90s so would've had to deal with the damp wall, which took out Keitaro who ran right before him, and cleared in 35. 39 I see the result being the same because he did regain a lot of morale around that time and was training a lot, and was simply thrown off by the reverse grab not being something he'd seen or worked with before. 40 I'm unconvinced he'd reach the rope, I think he'd probably struggle on the Jugo Dan due to the additional upper body strain caused by the rock wall, just like what happened to Tada, but maybe a bit further than Tada made it. Also bear in mind that because he wore #94 he would've had to run the stage in the rain. I also think Final is absolute best case scenario. He could still fail Vertical Limit due to the harder first half and working Dimension, I think this is probably more likely.

Few comments: -I think Ryo could clear the fish bone considering this Ryo won't be prone to silly mistakes with the help of mental therapy. Let's also not forget that the Ryo who had given up cleared double pendulum on his first try -i also could see him clear sasuke 37 stage 1 considering he did clear a damp wrapped wall in 39 once again in a Ryo state that wasn't up parr with the Ryo with mental therapy -agree with the 40 results, was probably a bit too optimistic there
