Honourable mention to ahzoo (and EDIT: now zoran) for helping me with this concept a while ago.
I envisioned what a Stage 3 course completely above water with no proper rest points would look like, and came up with this. Would appreciate some feedback, whether it's too hard, too easy; and if just right, who out of the current cohort could clear it, as well as how far today's competitors could go on it. The reason I wanted to try this is because I think certain obstacles as standalones are pretty laughable but as follow-ups could be quite compelling drainers.
I should also note that while there are no defined rest points, you are allowed to shake out on the bar-based obstacles as much as you like with no time limit, because obviously this isn't actual "resting" and hanging on one arm is still draining.
1. Drum Hopper Kai 2. Spinwinder 3. Propeller Bars 4. Cliffhanger Kai 5. Pipe Dream 6. Vertical Limit (31) 7. Spider Flip* 8. Floating Boards** 9. Devil Balanco 10. Pipe Slider
*No foothold **bar between 3.8 and 3.9 to shake out on

I think the spider flip should be added as it does allow competitors to rest without being a rest platform.

I think the spider flip should be added as it does allow competitors to rest without being a rest platform. I thought about adding this but then realised you could theoretically rest for as long as you want as you’re full on standing on the foothold of the first platform. All of the obstacles listed here where you can use your feet allow for some “relief” from your arms and grip but are still not full rests (ie shaking out on the Sidewinder). Perhaps if there was no foothold so you basically had to keep yourself propped up it could be added. Where would it go?

Competitors still have to maintain a grip and one slip on the tiny ledge and it's a fail. I'd put it after the vertical limit on this course.

Thanks, I edited 3.7 to replace Psycho Chainsaw with Spider Flip, I'm going to remove the foothold though so they can only shake out while in the Lumberjack Climb position to avoid possibly infinite rest.
