Which first obstacle on Stage One do you think is the hardest by difficulty?

Probably either Dome Steps or Step Slider.
Dome Steps had quite a lot of elevation and large distances between the steps, as well as the no hands rule and the curved platform being easier to slip on. Step Slider had the difficulty of carrying enough momentum to grab the rope and slide to the end.
I also think the original Godantobi is underrated, mainly because of how steep the steps were and especially in 8 with the rain it was pretty damaging to a few big names, with Kuboki failing it, and a few near misses like from Kane. Twelve Timbers was cool as well due to the need to carry momentum for longer as well as the changes in angle of each step, the Hurdle Jump and Prism See Saw were pretty creative concepts that I wish were utilised more.
The only ones I actively don't like are the Ensuitobi due to its laughable difficulty, the Long Jump due to just being a bit of a copout creativity wise and also injuring Nagano, and obviously the Quad Steps for their adherence to the "slow and steady wins the race" approach which accounts for a lot of the joke competitor runs being drawn out. The fact that you can rest on the last step before the transition to the Rolling Hill also eliminates most of the difficulty of having those two back to back. It would be way more interesting if you were forced to carry momentum to the rollers which would make them more likely to roll if you misstep or don't get enough distance and land on the side of the rollers.

Uh, how about the one that wasn't included, the Rope Glider?
