Kanno clearing in crazy cliff is sasuke 31 was one of the most epic moments of his career before his career dropped from sky high. But let's assume his clear for crazy cliff was instead in sasuke 30. With the easier VL, could he have made the final? He likely won'f kaizen lol but was there a chance of a second final for him if he cleared crazy cliff in sasuke 30 rather than 31?
On a side note, was there any chance that Kanno could have cleared crazy cliff in sasuke 30?

I think had he cleared the cliffhanger in 30, he would have made the final stage.
There were 3 main reasons behind his fail in 31, some of which wouldn’t have applied had he cleared the cliffhanger in 30.
1: The transfer- Probably the most obvious reason why he failed in 31, and in 30 it wasn’t there. The amount of endurance required to make that transfer is so much more than the amount required to simply traverse the singular ledge. Kawaguchi in 35 couldn’t make the first transfer- the same 30cm one Kanno attempted- despite clearing the regular version in 30.
2: Grip Endurance- Up until the Cliffhanger in 30, there wasn’t really a major grip strength drainer. In 31, there was the Sidewinder, which would’ve made the vertical limit much tougher.
3: Emotions- After clearing the Vertical Limit in 31, Kanno seemingly was treating the cliffhanger the way someone else might have treated the pipe slider, as though it was the last difficult obstacle he had to conquer. And although throughout Sasuke Rising the Crazy Cliffhanger would’ve been a major obstacle for Kanno to be able to conquer, it wasn’t the only obstacle for him to conquer. And the more he failed it, the bigger the obstacle it would become for him. Perhaps in 30, mentally it wouldn’t have been as prominent as it was in 31.
Had he cleared in 30, the situation would’ve been different, and I reckon it would’ve resulted in a clear, of not only the Vertical Limit, but of the 3rd stage. As for his result on the final, I reckon about 19/20 metres up would seem about right, considering how slippery the Spider Climb was.
