When I was looking at the Jumping Spider page at Sasukepedia, i saw that usually 30 people beat the Jumping Spider/ attempt the Halfpipe Attack.
What I dont understand is how 70 contestants can fail the Sextuple Steps, Log Grip, Pole Maze or Circle Hammer, and Jumping Spider?
Are those 30 people the only ones we know? As in all the cut people we dont know dont count?

Not all competitors are good, considering all the jokes, celebs, bad competitors and people who are good but messed up, that seems about right of an average for the jumping spider

Well unless we know where the cut contestants fail somehow, nothing will be 100% accurate. This is only going by people we've seen, digest contestants and any other info that can be confirmed. And many people do fail before the JS, because they're joke competitors or they simply took an obstacle for granted. Maybe not 70, but close to half to a bit over half do fail early.

For the obstacle stats, I wouldn't look too much into it. They only go by who has been shown/information found, which for any competition is 50-70 people. Thus the remaining 30-50 people are unknown. Some obviously fail the first obstacle, others time out on the Rope Ladder, yet they all are cut from the broadcast. It honestly could be anywhere. Also, remember that the broadcasts are more likely to show people who get farther. They always show who clears, and more than likely they show people that get deep into the course such as failing the Slider Jump or timing out on the Rope Ladder. Thus if someone late fails the steps or the Log Grip, they're more than likely to get cut.
If anything, I would put more value into the percentages of a given obstacle as they would more or less say how many people passed/failed there.

The steps and circle hammer are easy....after that it gets challenging and it only takes one small mistake.
